XM-29 OICW
The XM29 OICW was an experimental US infantry weapon developed by H&K during the 90s' future warrior program phase. By having two separate weapon system into one, namely the 5.56mm Assault Rifle component and some really high tech 20mm grenade launcher with programmable fuse time to defeat units behind cover, the system was deemed overly complicated, costly and at the end of the development, everyone started to ask the real questions, is it truly needed?
The weapons itself didn't go further despite having a handful of different iterations. In the end though, the assault rifle part was split into the XM-8 and the grenade launcher was split into the XM-25 in the end.
The weapon itself has hidden rails and the ability to snap on muzzle devices. The complicated ballistic-ish computer scope system is mostly functional, with the ability to range find, magnification, night vision and thermals. The scope can "swapped" away by just placing any picatinny style attachments on it.
In order to use the OICW, your main hand controls the fire selectors for both weapons, the assault rifle and the grenade launcher (With KE means kinetic, basically rifle and HE means grenade launcher)
To use the programmable fuse, your off-hand has to hold the fore. By pressing trigger, you'll hear a beep and the range finder will indicate its range to indicate how far it'll explode. (THANK YOU JERRY FOR THE SCRIPT!!!!!)
