Trench Rat Reggie Modded
Lucky Looter with optional WW1 Guns profile weapons and equipment. Includes a separate native character and vanilla fallback pools.Trench Rat Reggie (Modded)
Optional item support for the WW1 Guns profile, with a separate Take & Hold character. This is a beta build targeting H3VR 1.0.
Install with r2modman, then select WW1 Looter → Trench Rat Reggie (Modded). The character is included; the Workshop edition and TNHFramework are not required. You can keep the native Workshop character installed alongside it.
Optional packs
The supported catalog follows the revised WW1 Guns roster. No weapon packs are mandatory. Install supported packs and their own dependencies through your mod manager. Absent items are skipped; without optional packs, the character has 33 vanilla firearms, melee and grenades.
- Supported firearms join their corresponding starter and enemy reward pools.
- Grenades and melee join their existing reward pools.
- Scopes, attachments, shields and other equipment can appear from crates and the recycler.
- Magazines, clips and cartridges use matching-weapon ammo handling rather than unrelated random drops.
- JerryAr items, Model 10-A, information cards and the Emily, Old Drum and Lovcen skins are excluded. Standard versions of those skinned guns remain supported.
Support uses 230 exact item IDs from pinned pack versions. A pack update that introduces new IDs may need a catalog update. The original shared profile contains items excluded in 0.9.0.
Weapons and ammunition
Clip-fed rifles receive compatible replacement clips. RSC-style loaders are handled as magazines when that is how the weapon mod implements them. Ammunition follows the actual gun prefab, including corrections for inaccurate item metadata.
Reggie's generated ammo uses ordinary loads: FMJ where available, otherwise ball, Spitzer or buckshot. A few older calibers only provide a standard soft-point loading; those use an explicit exception. Special AP, tracer and incendiary loads are excluded from these spawn paths.
Compatible rifles spawn with attached bayonets when the matching bayonet pack is installed. Built-in bayonets stay part of their original gun. A missing optional bayonet never prevents its rifle from spawning.
Enemies wear lighter grey uniforms and use repeating rifles, pistols and later support weapons. There are no shotgunner loadouts; player shotgun loot remains available.
Balance
Bosses have 3× regular Sosig health. Hold bosses guarantee a support-gun box; patrol bosses have a 70% drop chance. Patrol loot rolls are reduced by 30%: scavengers 35%, mercenaries 52.5%, reserves 28%, elites 35%. Supply, take and hold rewards keep their previous rates.
Optional items share their category equally with the vanilla items. Packs with many variants therefore have more representation. See the illustrated loot and balance tables.
With optional equipment installed, the non-ammo crate/recycler weights are health 6, melee 2, grenades 2, equipment 1. The 70% ammo-attempt chance is unchanged. Without optional equipment, the original 6:2:2 weights remain.
Diagnostics
After character validation/start, BepInEx/config/quaternion.reggie.modded.audit.json lists registered supported items and guns skipped for missing ammunition. Install missing pack dependencies and restart the game. Removing the package removes the separate modded character; it does not change the native Workshop files.
