Run Mods: World

Control world-structure and encounter-behavior rules for speedrun routing.

What It Does

Run Mods: World changes world-layout and fight-behavior rules that matter for route stability and pace.

The module currently includes:

• Adjust Charybdis Behavior Makes the Charybdis transition cleaner by despawning tentacles much faster and reducing the spit count. Spawn delay is reduced from 9 seconds to 1 second, and spit count is reduced from 8 to 6.
• Incrementing Fig Leaf Makes Dionysus skip chance start at its normal value, 37%, and climb by 13% after each encounter, resetting at biome start.
• Skip Gem Boss Reward Stops bosses from dropping gem rewards while Grave Thirst is active.
• Less Sucky Surface Forces one Thessaly miniboss to appear from rooms 2-4, forces the Olympus midshop to appear, and stops Heracles from spawning on Thessaly.

Use it when you want more controlled surface routing and targeted world-side cleanups without changing the whole pack structure.

Installation

Install via r2modman.

This module is usually installed as part of the full Speedrun modpack, where it appears in the shared Speedrun UI with the other speedrun-focused modules.
