How to Chonk 🐟

Eat what you need. Wear the rest.

How to Chonk makes every oversized fish dinner show on your character. Eat past maximum fullness and the overflowing part of the meal becomes visible body weight. Bigger fish mean bigger gains! 🐡

Stop eating and that extra weight gradually fades away. Stay hungry for too long, though, and your character will begin to look thin. Your voice joins the transformation too: chonkier characters sound deeper, while thinner characters sound higher.

🍽️ How It Works

• Food that fits within your fullness bar behaves normally.
• Only the part of a meal that overflows maximum fullness adds body weight.
• The amount gained is proportional to the fish's weight and the overflowing portion of the meal.
• Extra body weight slowly returns toward the normal body shape over time.
• At normal weight, fullness between 50 and 100 has no special effect.
• Staying below 50 fullness gradually makes the character thinner, with stronger effects closer to zero.

• Smooth progression between thin, normal, and gloriously chonky bodies.
• Changes appear first around the torso, then spread through the limbs and extremities.
• Voice pitch follows body shape, from deep and heavy to tiny and squeaky. 🎙️

🚫 What It Does Not Change

How to Chonk does not change collision size, movement speed, health, or the game's normal fullness calculation. Body weight is saved only for the current play session.

⚙️ Configuration

After the first launch, BepInEx/config/ArceDev.HowToChonk.cfg lets you adjust how quickly weight is gained or lost, when critical hunger begins, the maximum body changes, and the deepest or highest voices can become.

📦 Installation

The easiest option is to install How to Chonk with Thunderstore Mod Manager.

For a manual BepInEx installation, copy both ArceDev.HowToChonk.dll and the included NWaves.dll into BepInEx/plugins/.

🌐 Multiplayer

Every player should install the mod. The host calculates body weight and shares each player's shape so everyone sees and hears the same transformations.
