HTF 1v1 (TORNADOS!)

Adds a fully custom 1v1 duel mode to How to Fish — fight your friends on hand-crafted maps with a live score counter, buy menu, and wild map events that can completely flip a round

How to Play

Get in a game with a friend who has the mod installed, then the host presses F9 to instantly kick off a 1v1 match

• Press T at the start of each round to open the buy menu and grab your guns (10 second window)
• First to 10 kills wins the match
• Both players need the mod installed — just drop HTF1v1.dll into your BepInEx/plugins folder

Maps

A handful from the rotation — there's more than you think:

• Skyscraper — rooftop fight with a storm rolling in
• Neon Arcade — tight corridors and neon lights
• Arena — open symmetrical 1v1 layout
• Warehouse — cluttered industrial with lots of cover
• Facility — can become a frozen wasteland mid-match
• Dockyard — outdoor waterfront brawl
• Sunken Temple — ancient ruins that can spawn a tornado
• Reactor — tight underground layout
• Freight Terminal — cargo bay chaos
• Skyline — rooftop skyline, also has a flooded variant

Live Events

Maps aren't static — some can flip mid-round with wild weather events:

• 🌊 Floods — water rises and cuts off parts of the map
• 🌪 Tornados — pick up players and props and throw them around
• ❄️ Blizzards — ice physics kick in, zero traction, everything is slippery
• ⚡ Storms — rolling thunder and lightning strikes on the Skyscraper
