How to Fish: Shattered Horizons

Finished the vanilla journey? Shattered Horizons opens four more late-game islands, each with its own creatures, equipment, quests and reasons to keep sailing. Built for How to Fish 1.1.3.
Beyond the last island
- Explore Rustwater Cove, Frostbound Isle, Luminous Abyss and Tempest Citadel.
- Catch new fish and face hostile sea creatures, minibosses and major bosses, from SharkSaw and the Colossal Shrimp to the Ice Wyvern, Abyssal Kraken and Storm Dragon.
- Buy, craft and improve seven expansion weapons, including Barracuda-12, Heavy Magnum, Kalash, Blackfin DMR, Ironstorm LMG, Abyss Lance and Maelstrom.
- Upgrade your boat through four new engines as you progress between islands.
- Build up armor and equipment, recover salvage, gather materials and use new workshops, services and late-game activities.
- Continue progression after the vanilla campaign, with Russian and English text. Other game languages use the expansion's English fallback.

Installation
Install with Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman. BepInExPack and CustomIslandsLoader are required and are listed as dependencies.
For a manual install, install those dependencies first, then merge this package's
BepInEx folder into the game or mod-manager profile. Keep the folder layout:
the compatibility patcher belongs in BepInEx/patchers, and island files belong
in BepInEx/plugins/HTFExtraIslands.
Restart the game after installation. Start from your existing world and continue the expansion after finishing the vanilla content. Keep a backup of your world before adding or updating mods. When updating from an older HTF DLC FST build, remove its old main plugin folder before installing this package to avoid loading the same plugin twice. Keep your saves and the shared island-loader folder.
Playing together
Shattered Horizons uses the game's FishNet multiplayer systems. Install the same version and dependencies on the host and every joining player. Full multiplayer acceptance of this public package is still pending; it is not advertised as fully verified multiplayer support.
Optional: Shattered Horizons — Pirates Addon
Want hostile pirate fleets integrated into Shattered Horizons progression?
Install Shattered Horizons — Pirates Addon separately.
Pirates are optional. The main expansion runs without the addon or Behold Pirates. The addon installs its own Behold dependency and compatibility layer.
Release notes
Version 1.0.1 improves Tempest Citadel quest interactions:
- The Storm Dragon altar's interaction area now surrounds its visible control above the stone surface.
- Survey instruments and storm anchors identify their own locations.
- Anchors explain missing guardian or material requirements; the altar explains missing seals or an ongoing encounter.
- Existing progression, recipes, rewards and saves are retained.
Quest fixtures, salvage access and fortress routes were inspected offline in Unity Editor. In-game and multiplayer confirmation remains with players. Music attribution is included alongside the production assets.
