HTF Mod Manager

A native in-game mod manager for How to Fish.

HTF Mod Manager adds a MODS tab directly to the game's Options menu, allowing you to view loaded BepInEx mods and edit supported configuration values without manually opening .cfg files.

Generic mod support

HTF Mod Manager is designed to be generic. Mods do not need to be hardcoded into the manager.

Sections such as General, Spawn, Drops, Stats, or any other section are discovered directly from each plugin's BepInEx ConfigFile.

For the best integration, mod authors should use standard BepInEx Config.Bind(...) entries and define AcceptableValueRange or AcceptableValueList where appropriate.

Live configuration

Configuration changes are saved immediately to the corresponding BepInEx config file.

Whether a setting takes effect immediately depends on the mod being edited. Some mods react to config changes live, while others may require a restart or reload.

The enable/disable switch is only available for compatible mods that expose:

[General]
Enabled = true

Mods without this entry can still be viewed and configured normally.

Install using a Thunderstore-compatible mod manager, or manually place the HTF Mod Manager DLL inside:

Launch the game and open:

Options -> MODS

The MODS tab is injected automatically.
