BetterUI

BetterUI rebuilds and polishes only Inferno Protocol's crafting interface. It does not reskin the gameplay HUD, inventory, hotbar, storage, pause menu, or global tooltips.

Installation

Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman

Install BetterUI and launch Inferno Protocol from the same modded profile. The required BepInEx 6 IL2CPP pack is declared as a dependency.

Manual

1. Install the Windows x64 Unity IL2CPP build of BepInEx 6.
2. Start the game once, let BepInEx finish setup, and close the game.
3. Extract this package into the Inferno Protocol game directory.
4. Confirm that BepInEx/plugins/BetterUI/InfernoProtocol.BetterUI.dll exists.

The usual Steam directory is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Inferno Protocol.

Configuration

The selected color palette is stored in:

BepInEx/config/com.holden.infernoprotocol.betterui.cfg

Press F8 to pause or resume BetterUI for the current session.

Compatibility

This release was built for Inferno Protocol's Unity IL2CPP version and tested with Steam build 25029929, Unity 6000.4.11f1, and BepInEx 6. Inferno Protocol is in active development, so a future game update may require a rebuilt mod.

Uninstall

Close the game and delete BepInEx/plugins/BetterUI. Deleting the config file is optional.
