This mod requires the following mods to function
BepInEx-BepInExPack_Inscryption
BepInEx pack for Inscryption. Preconfigured and ready to use.
Preferred version: 5.4.1901MADH95Mods-JSONCardLoader
This is a BepInEx plugin made for Incryption to create custom cards, sigils, starter decks, tribes and encounters using JSON files and the API.
Preferred version: 2.2.5API_dev-API
The de-facto standard core API for all Inscryption mods. This lets you create new cards, abilities, challenges, map nodes, starter decks, and more.
Preferred version: 2.8.1README
This Mod adds 15 Mage/Mox based Encounters.
What is added?
- 15 new Encounters for Act 1 and KCM, with scaling difficulty
How does it work?
- The Encounters are added to the normal Encounter Pool. That means that you will see vanilla Encounters and these 15 new Encounters.
- Encounters will slighty change the more you progress in the Run. The changes are mostly based around a harder encounter by replacing cards with stronger equivalents.
- Encounters are sorted by difficulty. Easier Encounters are encountered at the beginning of a run and harder Encounters at the end of a Run.
- New Encounter can occur in any vanilla region
Balance
- The Encounters are supposed to be vanilla like, but they might be a bit too weak(?) right now. Please give me Feedback on Discord (linked at the top right).
Pack Manager
-
If you are using the Pack Manager mod, a Pack will appear in the Card Pack selection. You can enable/disable it to enable/disable the new Encounters.

I found an Opossum!?!? Yeah, due to how Pack Manager works, I have to put a custom card in to the collectable cardpool. I choose to remove Opossum from the Vanilla cardpool and read it with the Mage Encounters. Not a pretty solution but this is better than not working at all!
1.0.1
- Fixed an issue with the Ruby/Orange Mox not displaying the correct backround
