A Psychological Horror Audio Pack for Lethal Company
Transform Lethal Company into a darker, more oppressive experience with brutal, immersive sound design.
"The silence is never empty."
About
Crimson Rain is a complete audio overhaul focused on psychological horror, realism, and atmosphere.
Every sound replacement is designed to make the game feel more oppressive and believable. From violent impacts and realistic gore to unsettling creature vocals and environmental ambience, the goal is to immerse you in a world that feels genuinely hostile.
Rather than relying on exaggerated or comedic effects, Crimson Rain delivers grounded audio that enhances every moment of tension.
Looking for Collaborators
Crimson Rain is a long-term passion project, and I'm actively looking for people who want to help shape it into something much bigger.
Whether you're experienced with sound design, audio editing, Unity, Lethal Company modding, or simply love psychological horror, I'd love to work with you. My goal is to eventually build a dedicated team of volunteers who share the same vision.
The long-term plan is for Crimson Rain to become the audio foundation of an extremely immersive horror-focused modpack that pushes Lethal Company to its absolute limits without sacrificing its vanilla feel. I want to create what I believe can become one of the most terrifying Lethal Company experiences available, complete with a cinematic trailer and a polished, cohesive atmosphere.
If you'd like to contribute, don't hesitate to reach out on Discord.

Credits
Special thanks to Lethal Resonance for providing the foundation for many of the current audio replacements used in Crimson Rain.
I have immense respect for the work the Lethal Resonance team has done for the Lethal Company modding community. Their project has helped make the game more immersive and enjoyable for countless players, and I sincerely appreciate the time and effort they invested into improving the experience.
Crimson Rain is an ongoing long-term project, and my goal is to eventually replace every inherited sound with original edits and completely custom audio. Over time, all audio currently sourced from Lethal Resonance will be reworked or replaced, allowing Crimson Rain to become a fully standalone audio overhaul with its own unique identity and sound design.
As this transition continues, the credits to Lethal Resonance will naturally become much smaller, as only a minimal amount of implementation code will remain from the original project while nearly all audio content is replaced with original work. Their contribution to the foundation of Crimson Rain will always be acknowledged.
