ShipNoLimits
Removes the vanilla ship item save limit and scrap synchronization limit. Host-only and vanilla-client compatible.ShipNoLimits
A small host-side Lethal Company mod for current v81-era builds.
What it changes
- Removes the vanilla limit on the number of ship items that are saved (vanilla: 45).
- Removes the vanilla scrap synchronization item-count limit (vanilla: 500 on modern builds).
- Raises the RPC writer maximum capacity used by this synchronization path to 512 MiB.
It intentionally does not patch item physics, radar icons, rehosting, out-of-bounds behavior, late joining, furniture, or other gameplay systems.
Who needs it?
Only the host needs ShipNoLimits installed. Vanilla clients can join normally.
Required dependencies
BepInEx-BepInExPack-5.4.2305
Harmony/HarmonyX is provided by BepInEx and does not need to be installed as a separate Thunderstore mod.
No LobbyControl, MattyFixes, TooManyItems, MoreItems, LethalLib, LethalCompanyInputUtils, or other library mod is required.
Conflicts / overlapping mods
Do not use ShipNoLimits together with:
- TooManyItems
- MoreItems or another mod that changes the ship save-item cap
- another standalone item-limit remover
LobbyControl already contains the same ItemLimit feature. If you use LobbyControl too, set:
[SaveLimit]
enabled = false
Otherwise both mods may transpile the same methods.
Installation with Thunderstore profile
- Make sure
BepInExPack 5.4.2305is installed in the profile. - Extract/copy this package into the profile's
BepInEx/plugins/ShipNoLimitsfolder, or install it as a local package if your mod manager supports local packages. - Remove/disable TooManyItems or MoreItems first.
- Launch Lethal Company through the mod manager.
Manual installation
Copy ShipNoLimits.dll into:
Lethal Company/BepInEx/plugins/ShipNoLimits/
Compatibility target
The limit-removal targets were checked against the maintained 2026 LobbyControl ItemLimit implementation used with current Lethal Company v81-era builds.
Notes
This package is a compatibility-focused derivative of the MIT-licensed TooManyItems assembly by mattymatty. The plugin identity and runtime activation were changed so only the item-limit patch group is applied; the unrelated old Radar/OutOfBounds/Rehost patch groups are not activated.
The DLL was statically validated as a loadable PE/.NET assembly in the build environment. It could not be launched inside Lethal Company in that environment, so the first real in-game launch is still the final runtime compatibility test.
