Cap's Courage the Cowardly Dog Mod

Fan soundboard mod by Cap — not affiliated with Cartoon Network or Warner Bros.

Please update to v0.2.5 (Thunderstore Mod Manager → Update on ChaseCourageComputerByCap).

Ship terminal commands

Anyone at the computer can type these. The whole lobby hears the audio — not only the host, and not only the person who typed it.

Type	What happens
help	Random Courage Computer one-liner (everyone hears the same clip)
need help	Random full exchange — typewriter on that terminal + paired audio for the whole lobby

Chat

Type help + Enter for a random synced Computer line. Any player can trigger it; everyone hears the same clip.

Chase music

When a monster is chasing you, the Courage Crisis Theme loops (local to you). Drop extra MP3s in CHASE MUSIC/ if you want more cues.

Install

Thunderstore Mod Manager / r2modman / Gale → ChaseCourageComputerByCap

Requires BepInEx.

Folders (next to the plugin DLL)

• COMPUTER HELP/ — one-liner MP3s (Thunderstore may flatten these into the plugin root; mod handles both layouts)
• sounds_exchanges/ — exchange WAV + .txt transcripts + manifest.json
• CHASE MUSIC/ — Courage Crisis Theme chase loop
• Newtonsoft.Json.dll — required dependency (included in pack)

Config

BepInEx/config/capscrew.computerhelp.cfg

• SoundTriggers — default help (terminal help plays a sound line, not the vanilla menu)
• NeedHelpTrigger — default need help
• ExchangeSpatialAudio — exchange audio from terminal speaker

v0.2.5

• Ships Courage Crisis Theme chase music (loops when a monster chases you)
• Chase MP3 load uses encoded file URLs so folders with spaces still play

v0.2.4

• Any player can type help or need help at the ship terminal (or help in chat)
• Host relays the clip so everyone in the lobby hears it
• Fixes: client help did nothing; need help only played for the person who typed it

v0.2.3

• Removed separate computer trigger; use help for one-liners and need help for full exchanges
• Flat Thunderstore install fix (0.2.1+)
• Friend credit in listing (0.2.2+)
