MoonRenames
Renames moons in the terminal, so two packs that ship a moon with the same word both stay reachable.Moon Renames
Renames moons in the terminal.
The terminal builds its routing keywords from moon names, so when two packs ship a moon whose name contains the same word, one of them stops being reachable — typing the word matches the other one. Renaming one of the pair fixes the routing without editing either pack's files.
Configuration
noosh.moonrenames.cfg, under [General]:
Renamed Moons = 120 Corrosion=120 Corrode
Comma separated Old=New pairs. Use the moon's full name including its number, exactly as the
terminal lists it — that is what makes two similarly named moons tellable apart. Leave the setting
empty to disable.
Several at once:
Renamed Moons = 120 Corrosion=120 Corrode, 5 Embrion=5 Ember
If a name does not match any installed moon, the log says so and nothing else changes.
Multiplayer
Safe either way. Moon names are display text — the game routes between moons by index, not by name — so nothing here is networked and nobody desyncs. Players without the mod, or with a different config, simply see the original names in their own terminal. Install it on every machine if you want everyone reading the same moon list.
Compatibility
Renames are applied when the level list is built and before the terminal indexes its keywords, so mods that add moons are already registered by then. Nothing is written to a save file, and removing the mod restores the original names.
