LampShade QOL
This modpack is aimed at adding Quality of Life features to Lethal Company without truly distorting the gameplay or balance very much. These are mostly mods that I feel should have already been features to the base game and generally won't extend beyond that. Whether or not I'll end up keeping up on all of this and making sure all of the mods are up to date is rather hit or miss so please be sure to check the date of the last upload. Furthermore this is my first attempt at something like this so we'll see how it goes.
Important
For the most part you should be able to play with people who are running an unmodded client, but there could potentially be issues, bugs, or loss of features. The main reason for trying to keep this pack like this is so you can host or join a public lobby with everything in here. With nothing being game breaking or significant to balance, I don't see that as a big issue.
Main Features
For a much more in depth understanding of what all is included, you can check the individual dependencies. This is just a quick summary of everything included and none of this is my own work, just a collection of other people's work.
- Gives control over game and texture resolutions as well as FOV (Check HDLethalCompany and FOV_Adjust configs)
- Adds the ability to see how much value is on the ship by simply scanning
- Makes flashlights in the inventory toggleable with F
- Makes walkies heard locally instead of just heard by the person holding it
- The secondary monitor on the ship is replaced with the currently monitored players POV
- Nameplates are easier to see as well as a speech indicator being added over heads
- Ability to spectate enemies while dead
- Various extra commands in the terminal for doors, teleporters, time, ect. (Use the help command to explore in more in depth)
- Allows for people to join your lobby any time while in orbit without needing to restart
- Makes saves easier to manage and more reliable
Performance
All of the mods in here are very lightweight outside of HDLethalCompany and Helmet_Cameras. If you find yourself having issues with performance simply try messing with their respective configs or disabling them altogether. They are purely client side and won't have any effect on playing with others.
Credits
Again, just a reminder that none of the mods present in this pack are my own and all credit for these features goes to the creators of them.
