Stranger Things

This is a beta version of the Stranger Things mod designed to test upcoming new features. Anyone can use it and report any issues with this new content to me. This description covers only the new features, for the rest of the content, see the original mod.

Important note

The Demogorgon, its portal, and Henry Creel are based on assets originally from the game Dead by Daylight. They are used here strictly for non-commercial, fan-made modding purposes. All rights belong to their respective owners.

Enemies

Henry Creel

Description

A powerful telekinetic enemy that relentlessly hunts players in the normal world, using the environment itself as a weapon.

Spawns indoors and in the normal world only.
Cannot enter the Upside Down in this form.
Moves slowly, but compensates with devastating telekinetic abilities.
If players get too close, Henry can perform moderate melee attacks.

Telekinetic Attacks

Indoor

Henry can telekinetically lift 3 small pebbles from around the targeted player.
This ability does not require direct line of sight.
The pebbles are launched one after another, each dealing light damage.

Outdoor

Henry instead lifts 2 large rocks around the targeted player.
Each rock explodes on impact with the ground, spawning 3 small pebbles.
The spawned rocks are then launched one after another toward the player, each dealing light damage.

Environmental Abilities

Henry can also manipulate nearby objects regardless of whether he is indoors or outdoors.

Fallen Tree

If a tree is available, Henry can tear it down.
The trunk falls toward the targeted player.
Being struck by the falling tree is fatal.

Telekinetic Door

Henry can rip a door from its frame and hold it in front of himself.
While doing so, he becomes immune to all damage.
After up to 30 seconds, if he has line of sight to a player:
- He throws the door forward with two powerful bursts.
- Each hit deals 50 damage.
Once the attack ends, Henry becomes vulnerable again.

Ship Interactions

Henry can prevent players from escaping.

If the ship lever is activated and Henry is nearby:
- He can stop the launch sequence, forcing players to defeat or lure him away before escaping.
If players lock themselves inside the ship while Henry is near outside:
- He can force the ship door open.

Defeating Henry

Henry cannot be defeated by conventional means alone.

When Henry spawns, an Eleven Figurine spawns somewhere in the Upside Down.
Once Henry reaches 1 HP, the figurine becomes visible through walls.
Henry cannot be killed while at 1 HP.
A player must retrieve the figurine and use it on Henry.
Doing so banishes him to the Upside Down, immediately despawning him.
