Loneliness
The goal of this assembly is to develop the concept of single-player gameplay and the horror element. Before launching the game, make sure you have only "ShipWindowsBeta" installed. Remove "ShipWindows"
The goal of this assembly is to develop the concept of single-player gameplay and the horror element. I wanted the game to compel players to use their gear for insane efficiency and survival.
Features:
-
You can (and must) play alone at any moment
-
New moon - new location: the ship and shuttle with purchases always (almost) land in a random place
-
Always something new: even on vanilla moons, you will notice both major and minor changes: new fire exits, buildings, or just little houses on the street
-
Atmosphere: there are almost no crazy mods that interfere with your immersion in the game. The music and madness will completely immerse you in the game.
-
If the character is scared - you will be scared too: the madness system has been completely overhauled. Strange sounds, power outages, spontaneous door openings, phantom players, and a multitude of THINGS depend on your madness level
-
New day - new moon: the list of moons is always shuffled with each new day, forcing you to land in a new place
-
Beautiful (hopefully) optimization: the developer of this assembly plays on a rather weak laptop, so optimization work was necessary
Drawbacks:
-
Can only be played solo: this assembly is not intended for multiplayer and has never been tested in multiplayer mode. You can try to play with others if you want, but I can't guarantee anything
-
Some items in the store are simply useless, for example: radar-booster, signal translator, teleporter. I couldn't find a mod that would allow me to remove them from the store. Yes, I didn't search well for this mod
Optimization:
-
During "Snowfall" or "Blizzard" weather, FPS drops significantly if you have a weak PC; it's recommended to disable "Lethal Elements" in the config
-
If you are very concerned about the delays in the "Blackout" weather, you can disable them in BepInEx\config\ScienceBird.ScienceBirdTweaks.cfg / Mod Tweaks / MrovWeathers True Blackout
-
If you are worried about graphical changes, you can disable them in BepInEx\config\LethalSponge.cfg / Rendering / removePosterizationShader
-
You can slightly improve or worsen the graphics quality using the configuration in BepInEx\config\butterystancakes.lethalcompany.butteryfixes.cfg / Visual / GameResolution
-
You can improve the fog quality using the configurations in BepInEx\config\butterystancakes.lethalcompany.chameleon.cfg / Rendering / FogQuality and FogReprojection
Known Issues:
-
When loading an existing game that has a save, it may fly somewhere behind the ship. To resolve this, simply re-entry the save
-
When creating a new save while purchasing items, the store items may shift; for example, if you buy one item, another may be purchased instead. This usually resolves on the second day of gameplay and upon re-entering the save (not certain, very strange bug)
-
If the StoreHouse interior appears, a huge number of errors will be displayed in the console. Everything is fine; it shouldn't be like this, but it is.
This assembly is still in development, but the mods will not change significantly
Credits:
- Mechteores - Twitch - the author of the assembly, who also tested it on his streams. (He is Russian-speaking)
- PaLaS0 - for updating InsanityRemastered to make it work; without it, I wouldn't enjoy the character's madness as much. Thanks also to the original author of the mod. Yes, he has never heard of me, but I really enjoy InsanityRemastered.
- A big thank you to all the mod authors who created them; I just collected the mods and configured them using configurations.
