Installation Guide:

Prerequisites

Before you install, make sure you have:

Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman installed (highly recommended for managing Lethal Company mods).
Recommended RAM: At least 8-16 GB allocated to your system. More is always better if you can spare it for a large modpack!

Steps to Install

Option 1: Using Thunderstore Mod Manager (Recommended)

This is the easiest way to install and update the modpack!

Download and Install: If you don't have it already, download and install the Thunderstore Mod Manager from https://thunderstore.io/package/Thunderstore/ThunderstoreModManager/.
Select Lethal Company: Open the Mod Manager and select "Lethal Company" as your game.
Select this Modpack: Search for "Deep Space Overhaul" by "OnlyMe" (or your actual author name) in the "Online" tab.
Click "Download": And then "Download with dependencies".
Start Modded: Launch Lethal Company via the "Start modded" button in the Mod Manager.

Option 2: Using r2modman (Alternative Mod Manager)

r2modman is another popular and easy-to-use mod manager for Lethal Company.

Download and Install: If you don't have it, download and install r2modman from its official GitHub releases page or Thunderstore.
Select Lethal Company: Open r2modman and select "Lethal Company" from the game list.
Set as Default: Click "Set as default" (if you want this to be your primary profile).
Import Modpack: Go to the "Online" tab, search for "Deep Space Overhaul", and click "Download". This will typically install it. If the modpack provides an "Export code" on its Thunderstore page, use the "Import code" option in r2modman and paste the code.
Start Modded: Click "Start Modded" in r2modman to launch the game with the modpack.

Option 3: Manual Installation (Advanced Users)

If you prefer to manage your instances manually:

Download the Pack: Download the DeepSpaceOverhaulModpack.zip file from its official Thunderstore page: [Link to your modpack's Thunderstore page once uploaded]
Install BepInEx: Ensure you have BepInExPack for Lethal Company installed manually. You can get it from https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company/p/BepInEx/BepInExPack/. Follow its manual installation instructions.
Locate Your Game Folder:
- Find your Lethal Company installation directory. This is usually: Steam\steamapps\common\Lethal Company
Extract & Copy:
- Unzip the downloaded DeepSpaceOverhaulModpack.zip file.
- Crucially: This modpack .zip contains manifest.json, mods.json, README.md, and icon.png. You don't directly copy these files into your game.
- Instead, launch r2modman, create a new profile, install your modpack via the "Online" tab (as described in Option 1 or 2). Then, right-click your profile in r2modman and select "Browse profile folder". This will show you exactly where the manager extracts all the BepInEx folders and .dlls from the mods.json list. You would then manually replicate this structure.
- (Simplified Manual Installation for a Modpack): The easiest "manual" way to install a modpack is to install it via r2modman on one machine, then use r2modman's "Export profile as a code" feature to get a code you can use on other machines, or "Export profile as a zip" to move it. Truly manual installation of a modpack is very complex due to the large number of files.

Known Issues & Tips:

Performance: Due to the large amount of new content, some users may experience slight performance dips. Adjust in-game graphics settings if needed.
Mod Conflicts: While thoroughly tested, very rare conflicts might occur with other mods if you manually add them. It's recommended to run this modpack as-is for the best experience.
PersistentPurchases: If you experience issues with items not persisting, ensure no other "persistent purchases" mods are installed. You can also check the mod's configuration file in your BepInEx/config folder.
