CarefullyBalancedQueryPack
This modpack is curated for a longer cross session cross run progressionThis modpack is curated for a longer, cross-session, cross-run progression. LGU is permanent, but generally more expensive, and mildly nerfed. All mods are carefully selected, tweaked, and playtested to insure performance and functionality.
Specifically this pack does the following:
major things:
- Adds most of the features of Lategame_Upgrades(LGU)
- All LGU upgrades are permanent
- LGU upgrade prices have been curated, primarily raised
- Other LGU balancing has been curated by tweaking the config numbers
- Adds 2 additional planets to go to
- Orion, abandoned church on desert planet
- Aquatis, underground island facility on an ocean planet
- Adds additional scrap variety through ImmersiveScraps (including to Orion and Aquatis)
- Adds additional enemies
- Fire Exit Mimics, that always have visual confirmation (easy mode, colorblind mode)
- Shy Guy, that could wipe your entire squad if one person looks at them
- the Locker, which makes a beeline to you if you scan or shine a flashlight at it.
- Makes quota roll over, this is for the purpose of preventing ship lag through hoarding scrap, and has been balanced around
- Adds additional interactions
- Hoarding Bugs can now use items (including shotguns)
- Some enemies can now trigger landmines
- All enemies can now be caught in turret crossfire
- (Skinwalkers) Enemies will occassionally play audio from your teammates
- Not Bracken, or other stealth enemies, but any enemy you would have probably known it was there anyway will do this
- Laser pointers can now trigger landmines
- You can now recharge metal objects
- Masked Enemies now drop their masks at a reduced price
- Adds many extra suits, a couple emotes, and MoreCompany Cosmetics (including a few custom ones!, feel free to steal those if you know where to look for them)
minor things:
- (MoreCompany) allows more than 4 players in a lobby
- (WeatherMultipliers) gives small bonuses to scrap when there is hostile weather
- (SpectateEnemies) allows dead players to have more spectating options
- (ScannableCodes) shows codes for doors, turrets, and mines that can be disabled by the terminal
- (YippeeMod) hoarding bugs make the noise they are supposed to
- (RouteRandom) may now route to a random moon, as a roulette, no backing out once you pull the trigger
- (BuyableShotgunShells) if you do manage to slay a nutcracker, this will allow you to restock ammo
- (LateCompany) allows players to join whenever you are in orbit
- (Coroner) makes it more fun to look at the post-moon status screen
- (TerminalExtras) adds a couple QoL terminal commands
dev things:
- (LC_API) makes it much easier to play modpacks in a group that may not have done everything exactly correct
- (ScanForItemsFix) Backend fix for a bug that can ruin terminal scans
Bugs Encountered in OTHER mods:
I am not responsible for fixing these, and will not add the dependent features/mods until they are confirmed to be fixed
- I have attempted to customize modded scrap in LethalLevelLoader, and have been unsuccessful - it would only spawn vanilla scrap no matter what I put in the custom scrap string
- SCP Interior doesn't play nicely with other modded planets/interiors
- BetterTeleporters can sometimes not teleport an item configured to teleport
- The mod MoonPriceDisplay by Gloveman23 did not work, probably due to a mod conflict (suspects include LethalLevelLoader, LethalExpansion, and RouteRandom)
Bugs I am currently monitoring:
- Potential random lighting strikes on non-stormy moons - maybe caused by MetalRecharging?
- [Not a Bug] I am still playtesting LGU contracts. Have no idea how OP or bad they might be. Leaving them enabled for the time being.
- Encountered a random file corruption glitch, unsure what caused it, removed some less necessary mods to hopefully mitigate, possibly caused by a BetterTeleporters server-client inventory desync?
