• disable masked jumpscare / kill animation

as it turns out, most beings enjoy the game being scary.
as such, making the game less scary is a configurable, opt in feature.

change the lessScary thing in the config to say true.

todo

• disable masked jumpscare in a way where the player can still be saved (right now, the jumpscare is skipped by killing the player instantly.)
• disable scary sounds
• disable fake sounds
• is there blood in this game??
• maybe make the game brighter in general???? ( remove fog ???? )
• disable more jumpscares....? ( the tree jumpscare is not very scary to the author, because it reminds the author of pretty plant girls. >< the author is also unaware of other jumpscares due to not having a lot of game time. )

when these are added to the mod, they will most likely be individually configurable.
