DrunkerCompany
Team-vs-team drinking-game mod: a Captain leads colour-coded teams of 2, buys team buffs, and dies into Masked enemies. Adds team suits, a scoreboard, walkies, and a ship rules poster.DrunkerCompany
A team-vs-team competition mod for Lethal Company, built around a drinking-game night with friends. One player is the Captain; everyone else is split into colour-coded teams of two that compete to haul in the most scrap.
Host-authoritative and fully multiplayer — works on LAN and online. Only the host needs to configure it; everyone in the lobby needs the mod installed.
How a round works
- Teams are drawn at the start of each round. One random player becomes the Captain (red); the rest are shuffled into teams of two (Blue, Yellow, Green, Purple, White, Pink, Orange). An odd player out is folded into another team so nobody plays solo.
- Team suits. Each team is dressed in its colour using real suits from More Suits (see requirements). No tinting — everyone wears the actual coloured suit.
- The shop belongs to the Captain. Only the Captain can purchase items, the vehicle, and ship unlockables during a round. The store screen says so.
- Walkie-talkies each round. The Captain's station gets fresh, fully-charged walkie-talkies dropped by the terminal after landing (count configurable).
- A ship rules poster is mounted on the wall so the house rules are always visible.
Captain terminal commands
Type these into the ship terminal (Captain only, during a round). They're listed under >CAPTAIN in the terminal's command list.
boost <colour>— give one team a temporary crew-wide speed boost.revive <colour>— bring a fully-wiped team back to life (once per round).
Everyone can use teams to see the current teams, members, and scrap scores.
Reviving & dying
- Carry a fallen teammate's body onto the ship and drop it to revive them (once per player, per round). Works even for someone who died on the ship.
- When the Captain dies, Masked enemies surface on the moon — the crew is on borrowed time.
Requirements
- BepInEx (bundled dependency).
- More Suits and a solid-colour suit pack (Dom-Dom's Basic Suit Colors is the recommended one) — the team suits are matched by colour name (Red, Blue, Dandelion, Neon Green, Purple, White, Pink, Orange). Without a matching pack, players simply keep their default suit; nothing breaks.
- Mirage (recommended) — when the Captain dies, the Masked enemy that surfaces impersonates them, copying their suit and mimicking their voice. The integration is optional and reflection-based: without Mirage you still get a lethal Masked enemy, it just won't look or sound like the fallen Captain.
Configuration
Everything the host cares about lives in com.dkhelpling.drunkercompany.cfg:
- Masked enemy count on Captain death.
- Walkie-talkie count dropped each round.
- Ship poster on/off.
- Speed boost — enabled, cost, multiplier, duration.
- Group revive — enabled, cost.
Notes
- Only the host's config values matter for gameplay; cosmetic toggles are read per-client.
- Previous rounds' walkie-talkies are left where the crew leaves them — each round only adds its own fresh set.
