Dear employees,

You may have noticed that our stun grenades have recently been out of stock. This is due to a shipping error in the delivery service of our weapons provider. A mix-up has occurred, and instead of our usual stun grenades, we have received so-called "Splat Bombs" that were intended for so-called "Turf Wars".

We apologize for the confusion, and have tried to return the items, but we've grown impatient with their customer support, so we're forcing all of you to use these Splat Bombs instead. They appear to function the same as stun grenades anyway.

The Mod

Introduction:

Want to ink up some turf? Make some rains? Splat and/or Burst some bombs? Well, this mod lets you do two of those things by replacing the model and sounds for the Stun Grenade, Homemade Flashbangs, and Easter Eggs with Bombs from the Splatoon franchise!

The items function and cost the same as the vanilla versions, so don't be afraid to have some fishy fun with these inkredibly bomb-astic cosmetic!

Creation:

• Friend of mine came up with the idea, and I had a day off, so I challenged myself to do this in just one day. It was kind of rushed, so if there's anything major that's broken I'll look into it.
• The model for the grenades are not replaced, but rather a new Splatoon Bomb model is spawned on top. All other sound effects, item properties, and texts are actually replaced with custom assets. Assets are loaded and applied when loading into the lobby.

• Models for the Splat-, Burst-, and Fizzy Bomb, and sounds for the Bombs and menus, are from the Splatoon franchise, made by Nintendo.

• Attempted to fix a bug that Homemade Flashbangs/Burst Bombs sometimes wouldn't explode
  • I started getting this issue suddenly and inconsistently during v1.2.0, and I didn't fully understand what the issue even was, but I have implemented additional checks that hopefully prevent the issue, should any check fail. Sorry for the trouble.

• Overhauled Bomb replacements:
  • Burst Bombs now replace Easter Eggs
  • Fizzy Bombs now replace Homemade Flashbangs
  • Explanation:
    • I'd planned to have Burst Bombs replace Homemade Flashbangs pre-v50. So, when I made update v1.2.0, I simply went through with that plan. However, I didn't change this plan after v50 came out with Easter Eggs, and while playing with Burst Bombs it became obvious that people simply assumed they replaced the Easter Eggs because they look the same. So, Burst Bombs NOW replace Easter Eggs, and Homemade Flashbangs are NOW replaced by Fizzy Bombs, because they look kind of the same too. Apologies for the back-and-forth.
• Lowered resolution of Burst Bombs ink splatters, so they are more similar to the Splat- and Fizzy Bomb ink splatters.
