What do I need to know in-game?
- If you want to, you can go into the LethalConfig menu and play around with the graphics settings for HDLethalCompany. By default they're set fairly low to maintain a more vanilla-like experience.
- On the main menu, you can click the green icon at the bottom right on the main menu to apply cosmetics to your character. Now with more options.
- You have an extra slot for keys, lockpicks, flashlights, and walkie-talkies. They're hidden by default until you pick up such an item.
- Hold [ALT] to switch from your vanilla item slots to the modded ones. You can cycle through and interact with Alt slot items as normal, eg. unlocking a door or turning your talkie on.
- Hotkeys have been added to toggle your flashlight [F] and transmit with your walkie-talkie [X].
- As long as you've turned it on, you can hear transmissions from a walkie-talkie in any of your item slots.
- Press and hold [V] to open the emote wheel. The top row number keys function as shortcuts for the emotes all the way up to 0.
- With a spray can equipped, you can switch colours with [T]. You can erase paint by holding [E] while left clicking. [+] and [-] adjust the spray size.
- If you want to restart from scratch, you can use the /restart command in chat while in orbit to eject.
- The boombox can now stream custom tracks from a folder on your computer. Be warned, as of the current version adding too many audio files will consume a lot of RAM and may crash your game. But details on how to set up tracks are here: https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company/p/Yoshify/DiscJockey/
- There's a hotkey [P] to switch between first person and third person view while spectating, although cosmetics may cause issues with the first person view if you don't disable them. You can zoom in and out in third person with the scroll wheel.
- The left and right arrow keys can be used in the terminal to change the observed crew member. (I didn't test this yet)
Changelog
v1.3.2
Config tweak
- reconfigured alwayshearactivewalkie - increased audibledistance, this one didn't need to be lowered so much.
v1.3.1
We're now on Thunderstore...
This version just attempts to fix some issues with the previous version. I'm not sure if this worked, if it didn't some mods might need to be culled for stability.
- reconfigured quotarollovertweaks - hopefully fixed getting fired when you didn't sell enough to meet quota, despite having enough rolled over to make the difference.
- reconfigured alwayshearactivewalkie - dramatically reduced walkierecordingrange and audibledistance.
- added quick_radar_switch - switch in terminal with left and right arrows.
- added immersive_visor
Known issues
- It appears that having a large number of custom songs set up for discjockey demands a LOT of extra memory usage. You may experience crashes or slow load times. If affected, reduce the number of songs you put in the custom songs folder.
- There is a weird interaction between the boombox and (I suspect) the AlwaysHearActiveWalkie mods. Your walkie can glitch out and play nonstop music from your boombox, which gets stuck in a loop if you try to turn the boombox off. Not 100% sure what sets this off yet, but I think as long as you keep dropped active walkies some distance away from the boombox there will be no issues. Hopefully.
