CĀ³ - Catastrophic Corporation Collection
A carefully curated modpack for my friends - and yours too, if you so desire.
Featuring gameplay tweaks, quality of life changes, and custom content.
Expect regular releases as the modding landscape is in its early stage and devs tinker with modding capabilities and ideas.
š¤ What do you get with CĀ³?
ā§ Gameplay Tweaks ā§
- 4-player lobby limit raised, via More Company mod (designed for 8 players, can support up to 50)
- Players can join a game after it starts while the team is in orbit
- An additional 15c per extra player above 4 at the start of the game
- Days until deadline increase as quotas get higher and higher
- Flashlights and Walkie-Talkies usable even when not held, via keyboard shortcut
- Ship camera monitor replaced with POV helmet camera of players
- Players able to hear active walkie-talkies near them even when not holding one
- Players able to push eachother
- Item dropship arrives sooner
- Helmet's visor shows signs of damage as the player takes hits
- Harsher weather conditions reward more valuable scrap (up to +50% in Eclipsed)
- Using the Inverse Teleporter lets you keep Keys/Flashlights/Walkie-Talkies for a 50% energy charge cost
- Inverse Teleporter cooldown reduced to 60s
- Scanning calculates and highlights the items that fulfill the current quota
- Remotes able to disable turrets or landmines
- Stamina drain rate lowered (-25%), stamina regeneration rate raised (+25%)
- Jump stamina cost lowered (-25%), carry weight penalty lowered (-25%)
- Cosmetic ship items stay in the ship, even after failing to reach quota and being "fired"
- Various vanilla fixes (Hygroderes boombox, mask attack cancelling, landmines, and more)
- Signal Translator character limit increased to 20 characters
- Hoarding Bugs are able to use items they are holding
- Better Spray Paint with use limit and erase function (hold
Ewhile using it) - Boombox consumes no energy
- 3rd person camera mode
- Yield sign deals 2x damage
ā§ Quality of Life Changes ā§
- Auto-selects Online mode when launching
- Save slots no longer restricted to just 3
- Scanning scrap gives a readable list of values, the total value inside the ship and the total value in inventory
- Terminal command
scannow gives accurate scrap values in a map or the total ship value when in orbit - Hotbar can be selected with keyboard numbers
- Results screen describe players' cause of death and more misc notes
- HUD displays icon whenever your voice is being broadcasted
- Voice broadcasted 2s after death
- Keybind to toggle microphone mute
- Clock uses 24h format and is no longer hidden inside ship
- Weight carried measured in Kg
- Bought items can be picked up when resuming a game session
- Auto fly to company on the last day to reach quota
- Screens inside the ship display more information about the game's status
- Some default ship furniture is iluminated for ease of usage, light switch glows in the dark
- Company bell ring cooldown removed
- Company LED display shows value placed on counter
- Suits organized into pages, due to their quantity
- Suit selection saved between game sessions
- Boombox/Television/Record Player volumes adjustable
- Boombox autoplays a different song after the current one finishes
- Teleport cooldown resets at the beginning of a day
- Recall previously sent commands in the Terminal with the up/down arrow keys
- Quickly switch between players in the Terminal radar with left/right arrow keys
- Save games now have a 999 item limit, instead of just 45
- Crosshair for easier pointing at things
- Chat messages character limit raised, increased chat history
- Chat text-to-speech
- Chat command to quickly restart a game (
/restart) - Chat auto-hides after a few seconds with no sent/received messages

ā Troubleshooting
When an update is released we recommend creating a new profile in Thunderstore Mod Manager (TMM) to prevent any issues from previous mods/configurations/files.
If TMM notifies you that an individual mod can be updated, do not update to prevent mis-matched modpack versions or configurations between players.
Saves carried over from a different version are also not guaranteed to be free of any issues.
Known issues:
1 and 2 might activate the vanilla emotes and the hotbar at the same time - if so, re-bind said emotes manually in the game settings to F1 and F2
Game hangs for 3-4s joining a lobby when you first launch - the game is loading custom audio
More Company cosmetics might not load correctly at first for everyone - try restarting/rejoining the lobby
