C³ - Catastrophic Corporation Collection

A carefully curated modpack for my friends - and yours too, if you so desire.

Featuring gameplay tweaks, quality of life changes, and custom content.
Expect regular releases as the modding landscape is in its early stage and devs tinker with modding capabilities and ideas.

🤔 What do you get with C³?

✧ Gameplay Tweaks ✧

• 4-player lobby limit raised, via More Company mod (designed for 8 players, can support up to 50)
• Players can join a game after it starts while the team is in orbit
• An additional 15c per extra player above 4 at the start of the game
• Days until deadline increase as quotas get higher and higher
• Flashlights and Walkie-Talkies usable even when not held, via keyboard shortcut
• Ship camera monitor replaced with POV helmet camera of players
• Players able to hear active walkie-talkies near them even when not holding one
• Players are able to push eachother
• Item dropship arrives sooner
• Harsher weather conditions reward more valuable scrap (up to +70% in Eclipsed)
• Using the Inverse Teleporter lets you keep Keys/Flashlights/Walkie-Talkies for a 50% energy charge cost
• Remotes able to disable turrets or landmines
• Stamina drain rate lowered (-25%), stamina regeneration rate raised (+25%)
• Jump stamina cost lowered (-25%), carry weight penalty lowered (-25%)
• Cosmetic ship items stay in the ship, even after failing to reach quota and being "fired"
• Hygroderes don't attack when listening to boombox music (vanilla bug fix)
• Hoarding Bugs are able to use items they are holding
• Boombox consumes no energy
• 3rd person camera mode

✧ Quality of Life Changes ✧

• Auto-selects Online mode when launching
• Save slots no longer restricted to just 3
• Scanning scrap gives a readable list of values and the total value inside the ship
• Hotbar can be selected with keyboard numbers, hotbar scroll direction inverted
• Most keys can be changed in the game's Settings screen
• Results screen describe players' cause of death
• HUD displays icon whenever your voice is being broadcasted
• Voice broadcasted 2s after death
• Clock uses 24h format and is no longer hidden inside ship
• Weight carried measured in Kg
• Company bell ring cooldown removed
• Company LED display shows value placed on counter
• Suits are organized into pages, due to their quantity
• Suit selection saved between game sessions
• Boombox/Television/Record Player volumes adjustable
• Boombox autoplays a different song after the current one finishes
• Save games now have a 999 item limit, instead of just 45
• Game chat text-to-speech
• Game chat command to quickly restart a game (/restart)
• Game chat auto-hides after a few seconds with no sent/received messages

✧ Extra/Custom Content ✧

• Additional emotes (flipping the bird, clapping, being shy, doing the griddy)
• Themed suits, no purchase required (Mario, Luigi, Waluigi, Big Boss, Peter Griffin, Vault Boy, Waldo, and more)
• Player cosmetics (hats, glasses, and more)
• Functioning mirror (not in the store list but can be purchased by typing "mirror")
• Custom boombox music and SFXs (intro intercom speech, starting a mission, buying in the terminal, quota deadlines/success, and more)
• Custom television videos
• Custom ship posters and paintings

⌨ Keyboard Changes

• 1 through 4 - Hotbar Slots
• F1 through F6 - Emotes (dance, point, middle finger, clap, shy, griddy)
• F10 - Toggle 3rd Person mode
• Middle Mouse Button - Press and hold while in 3rd Person mode to move camera
• E - Press to push a player near you (in addition to the usual behaviour)
• F - Toggle flashlight (even when flashlight isn't selected)
• R - Press and hold to use walkie-talkie (even when walkie-talkie isn't selected, just don't forget to turn in ON first!)
• PgUp and PgDown - Navigate suit rack pages
• + and - - Raise/lower Boombox/Television/Record Player volume

⚠ Troubleshooting

When a major update is released we recommend creating a new profile in Thunderstore Mod Manager (TMM) to prevent any issues from previous mods/configurations/files.

If TMM notifies you that an individual mod can be updated, do not update to prevent mis-matched modpack versions or configurations between players.
Saves carried over from a different version are also not guaranteed to be free of any issues.

Known issue: Game hangs with a black screen for 3-4 seconds when joining a lobby - this is due to the game loading custom content, just be a little patient
Known issue: More Company cosmetics don't load correctly when starting a lobby - try forcing a restart with /restart or rejoining the game lobby
