README

Required BepInEx Setting

Extraction requires one BepInEx setting to be changed.

Open:

BepInEx/config/BepInEx.cfg

Find:

HideManagerGameObject = false

And then set it to true, otherwise the mod will not work correctly.

Extraction

Extraction adds a new way to escape the facility. A yellow Extraction Area appears somewhere inside the building. Instead of bringing everything back through the entrance, players can use this area to escape and cash in scrap.

Features

Yellow Extraction Area

A yellow translucent area spawns inside the facility each round.

  • Easy to see
  • Appears somewhere inside the facility
  • Gives players a new escape point
  • Works in multiplayer
  • All players should see the same area

Escape Through the Area

Players can escape by reaching the yellow Extraction Area.

  • Get to the yellow area to make it back to the ship
  • Makes the run feel more like a real extraction mission
  • Good for modpacks where the normal entrance is not the main way out
  • Forces players to search deeper instead of camping the front door

Scrap Turn In

Scrap placed inside the yellow area can count toward quota.

  • Drop scrap inside the area
  • Scrap in player inventories does not count
  • The crew still has to survive
  • If everyone dies, the scrap in the area is ignored

More Risk and Reward

Extraction changes the flow of a normal round.

  • Players have to find the Extraction Area
  • Scrap can be secured without walking it all the way outside
  • Dying still matters
  • The crew has to decide when to keep looting and when to extract
