This is a special version of our Testudination Modpack, setup for the VersionNine mod. Please check the original modpack page for details about the modpack itself!

What is VersionNine (v9)?

VersionNine is a mod that tweaks the gameplay to mirror that of the Version 9 Alpha Build of the game. Changes include:

The deadline is now 4 days and decreases per hour spent on a moon rather than by each day, meaning you can visit more than 4 moons in a single quota, incentivising speed when looting
Overtime bonus is now based on how many days you have left on the deadline. The earlier you sell, the more overtime you get.
Locked doors can slowly be lockpicked by hand, with lockpickers being faster and keys still instant
Random company buying rate each day that fluctuates hourly, meaning its not always best to sell on last day
Quotas increase harshly if you oversell, encouraging only selling the minimum needed to make Quota and hoarding, and making extra selling for equipment more of a calculated gamble
Beehives are worth much more
Each moon's time is out of sync, meaning it can be night on one moon and day on another at the same time. See the table here.

Differences to the Normal Pack

Longer Days and Enhanced Lockpicker is removed due to conflicts with v9
ProblematicPilotry is added, making the ship land at a random location 33% of the time
All modded moons besides Gorgonzola are removed
Lots of modded interiors are removed due to being redundant with less moons
Beehive spawn rates are halved due to the insanely high value
Moons are sorted by Difficulty instead of Price
The discounts on routing between moons is removed, along with the moon price changes
One of the monitors displaying the current time is replaced with a CompanyBuyRate screen
Interiors are placed differently on the moons
Max item count from Safes and Wooden Crates is decreased to 2
Facility chance is increased to makeup for the loss of Fractured Complex
Tower is added to Gorgonzola
