Kid Named Friendslop
I made this mostly for me and my friends :-)
Includes a bunch of custom moons, interiors, scrap, and enemies.
- All moons have their interiors weighted in such a way that any interior has a very small chance of appearing anywhere, but each moon has higher chances to spawn interiors that make thematic sense.
- New enemies are set mostly by difficulty, so tougher enemies shouldn't over-spawn on easier moons, and spawn at reasonable amounts on hard moons.
- Scrap tries to prioritize the mod author's set scrap list, but it currently allows most custom scrap to spawn at low rates practically anywhere. (Might do something more thematic and fun here later, idk :P)
- Due to having a bunch of moons, I used a mod to make it so you are given set amounts of moons at a time. Detailed explanation below.
- The pack is mostly vanilla, but there's also some silly shit in there. But I try to not make it too invasive and prominent.
Moon Randomization
As of 1.0.0, the moon list is set to do as follows:
- At the start of a file, you are given a total of 5 moons: Gordion and Shutter (both Company moons, meaning they don't cost a day), as well as three free moons.
- After the first quota, the three free moons shuffle to three different free moons and you are given a random moon that costs credits as well, totaling to 6 moons. Note that any moon that is normally "hidden" has been unhidden and will be randomly pulled like any other moon.
- From this point forward, your moon list is shuffled at the end of every quota and you are given an additional paid moon.
- Visiting any free moon 5 times makes it permanent, so it wont leave your list even when the shuffle happens. Visiting any paid moon 3 times makes it permanent.
- There is a discount system for paid moons. Every time you visit the paid moon, it discounts it further. First 50%, then 75%, then it becomes free. There is also a small percentage chance upon completing a quota that you will be given a random discount to one of the paid moons, or a full discount, making it free.
- There is also a Sale system. Every day, there is a chance a moon goes on sale. This knocks the price by up to 50%, stacking with any discounts you already earned for it. The sale only lasts a day, though.
- Upon completing a quota, there is also a chance you are granted a random moon as a reward, making it permanent.
- If you are Fired, all of this is reset. The purpose of this system is to make each run feel a bit more unique and to make the amount of moons available feel less intimidating. It also gets you to do more moons affected by weather, which grants bonuses to scrap value and scrap amount in this pack.
