The drop is an original pen nib instead of a borrowed White powerup.

The counter moved down to sit just under the Survivors ability list on the right edge, at 70% of the screen height. In 0.1.1 it drew on top of that list's first rows at every resolution. It still clears Muck's task panel and HP bars.
The counter hides while the map, the inventory, a crafting station, the pause menu or chat is open, and while you are dead, the same screens the Survivors HUD hides under.

The attack counter is readable at any resolution. It is bold white text on a dark plate with a drop shadow, 20 px at 1080p and scaled with screen height (27 px at 1440p, 40 px at 4K). It moved from the bottom-left corner to the right edge, below the crosshair, away from Muck's bars, hotbar and pickup feed. Not yet checked in game.
The page now says a Rock counts as a melee swing, that each arrow from a multi-arrow bow counts, and that a Bandit's backstab doubles the hit between Pen Nib and Crowbar.

First release. Pen Nib is a White powerup. Every 10th attack on an enemy deals double damage, and extra stacks shorten that interval down to every 4th.
