Nivalis Better Time
Set the clock speed, wait with keyboard or controller, and keep businesses running while time passes. Includes metro estimates and NPC recovery after waiting.2.2.3
Changes since public release 2.0.23. Supports official Update #4, Steam build 25828494.
- Validates the supported native build and required bindings before activation. Optional hook failures retain independent features and preserve configuration.
- Wait remains available with Unofficial Patch after its experimental greenhouse system is removed.
- Protects the inspected Nivalis Greenhouse 1.0.11 workers, including active leaving jobs, during Wait presentation and Better Time's zero-time view synchronization.
- Greenhouse integration is optional and retains the provider's existing walking and work timers. Unsupported installed implementations prevent accelerated Wait before its clock/input changes.
- Separated slider endpoint labels from the preset buttons and added space around the two footer rows.
- Corrected native keyboard and controller keycaps, including switching input devices while Wait is open.
- Made Wait smaller with dark native frames, separate time and duration sections, and uppercase unit labels.
- Added keyboard shortcuts inside Wait: A/D adjust by thirty minutes, Space starts, and Q recalls the last chosen duration or selects zero.
- The last chosen duration is remembered across sessions and limited by curfew when recalled.
- Reorganized results into signed, color-coded cash values, a separate net-change row, and meal/visit counts.
- Removed mouse-sensitivity labels from the duration/progress sliders and corrected device-specific input prompts.
- Redesigned Wait with a wide duration slider, exact hours/minutes/seconds, and current-to-arrival day/time previews.
- Added 15-minute, one-hour and until-curfew presets. All selection controls use the actual permitted duration.
- Added clear stopping and arrival-preparation feedback, retained actual arrival/results, and a Wait again action.
- Uses native Nivalis controls, title/frame artwork and typography, with a centered dual-time analog clock and forward hour arrow.
