PalParty
Client-side parties for Palworld: join a party and see party members as named map markers.PalParty
PalParty adds lightweight, client-side parties to Palworld. Players can create or join a party using chat commands. Party members are shown with Palworld's own map player marker and player name, including when they are not in the same guild.
Requirements
- Palworld Steam on Windows
- Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modmanPlus
unreal_shimloader(installed automatically)- A server that allows client mods:
bAllowClientMod=True
Every player who wants to see the party markers must install this package in their own profile. The dedicated server does not need this client display mod.
Commands
Use these in the normal Palworld chat:
/party create <code>
/party join <code>
/party invite <player name>
/party accept [code]
/party leave
/party list
/party toggle
/party help
Example:
/party create Vikings
/party invite Robin
Robin then uses:
/party accept Vikings
The party code is intentionally simple for the first release. Party membership is synchronized by the normal in-game chat stream, so do not use it as a security or moderation system. A future server-authoritative release can replace this protocol without changing the map integration.
Configuration
The config file is installed as PalParty/Scripts/config.lua in the active profile.
Enabled: enable or disable party map filteringShowNames: keep player names on party markersShowOwnMarker: do not alter the local player's own markerDebug: write extra diagnostics toUE4SS.log
Compatibility
PalParty does not edit saves, guilds, inventory, player stats, fog-of-war, or gameplay rules. It only filters Palworld's existing GetPlayerInfoForMap result using the party roster learned from chat.
Major Palworld or UE4SS updates may require a hook update. Test the mod on a copy of the profile before using it on a public server.
