ScoutmasterX
A mod for PEAK that enhances gameplay by spawning aggressive and passive Scoutmasters with unique behaviors. Aggressive Scoutmasters chase players, while passive Scoutmasters may assist by chasing aggressive ones. Includes auto-spawn toggles and a dynamite feature to despawn all Scoutmasters.
Features
- Aggressive Scoutmasters: Spawn 100 meters away from a random player, with a 1/6 chance to be black, 1/6 chance to be red, or 4/6 chance to be normal-colored. They move at 1.5x speed and chase for 1.5 minutes.
- Passive Scoutmasters: Spawn after a 1-second delay, with a 15% chance to be visible (light blue, chasing aggressive Scoutmasters) or 85% chance to be transparent (despawns after 1 second).
- Auto-Spawn: Toggle auto-spawning of Scoutmasters every 6.5 minutes (5-minute cooldown + 1.5-minute chase).
- Dynamite: Spawns dynamite that despawns all aggressive and visible passive Scoutmasters after a 5.5-second countdown.
- Keybinds:
- F2/F4: Manually spawn an aggressive Scoutmaster followed by a passive Scoutmaster.
- N: Toggle auto-spawn on/off (also despawns all Scoutmasters when disabled).
- F7: Spawn dynamite to clear all Scoutmasters after 5.5 seconds.
Installation

Install BepInEx:
- Download and install BepInExPack for PEAK (version 5.4.2403 or compatible).
- Follow the instructions to set up BepInEx in your PEAK game directory (
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PEAK).

Install ScoutmasterX:
- Download this mod from Thunderstore or manually place the
ScoutmasterX.dll in PEAK\BepInEx\plugins.
- Ensure the mod is loaded by checking the BepInEx console or logs (
PEAK\BepInEx\LogOutput.log).

Verify:
- Launch PEAK and check the console/logs for "ScoutmasterX mod loaded successfully!".
- Press F2, F4, N, or F7 to test the mod’s functionality.
Usage
- F2 or F4: Press to spawn an aggressive Scoutmaster (chases a random player) and a passive Scoutmaster (15% chance to chase the aggressive one, 85% chance to despawn after 1 second).
- N: Press to toggle auto-spawning of Scoutmasters every 6.5 minutes. Press again to disable and despawn all Scoutmasters.
- F7: Press to spawn dynamite, which clears all aggressive and visible passive Scoutmasters after 5.5 seconds.
- Multiplayer: Only the host (Master Client) can spawn Scoutmasters. Works in both single-player and multiplayer modes.
Compatibility
- Tested with PEAK and BepInExPack 5.4.2403.
- Multiplayer-compatible, but only the host can trigger spawns.
- No known conflicts with other mods, but report any issues on the GitHub repository.
