About This Fork

(from ItemInfoDisplayForkedCN)

Displays item information to the left of item prompts (at the bottom right of your screen). It works by inefficiently scanning all components of the equipped item to pull information from.

Displays:

• Status Changes (e.g. Hunger, Poison)
• Weight
• Remaining Item Uses
• Cookability
• Number of Times Cooked
• Some Effects & Afflictions

This mod is mainly for getting the numbers on consumable items.

Configurable:

• Font Size
• Text Outline Width
• Line Spacing
• Size Delta X (suboptimal workaround to move the text horizontally)
• Force Update Time

Quick FAQ

Why did I translate the CN fork of the mod instead of forking the original ItemInfoDisplay?

Simple: the original-original mod was deprecated a whole YEAR ago and has never been updated since. The CN fork has kept up with the balance changes, added new items, and added additional notes to items. Redoing all of that from scratch would be a HUGE amount of work; forking the CN fork means I only need to translate it into English.

Am I Chinese, or do I speak Chinese? Did I translate it myself?

No, I used translation tools.

Is the mod finalised?

No, this is quite barebones. I did go through SOME of the text and made it more natural, but that is not guaranteed. I also fixed some bugs. BUT this has NOT been proofread by anyone.

Can someone suggest fixes and/or improvements to the text?

YES. PLEASE. Create an issue on GitHub or something, or DM me, I don't really mind. Any input is 100% welcome.
