TurnThePage
Author: Dh9n
Version: 1.0.0
Game: PEAK
Description
This mod automatically switches your emote wheel to page 2 every time you load into the beach area.
Why?
- Many players rely on a specific emote slot for double‑jump actions.
- If you forget to manually turn to page 2 after respawning or entering a new beach instance, you might perform the wrong emote and fail the double‑jump, causing fall damage.
- This mod prevents that by ensuring you are always on the correct page.
Dependencies
- BepInEx-BepInExPack_PEAK version 5.4.75301 (BepInEx 5.4.23.3)
Installation
Via Mod Manager (recommended)
- Install BepInEx-BepInExPack_PEAK 5.4.75301 first (your mod manager will usually do this automatically when you install this mod).
- Install TurnThePage from the mod manager.
- Launch the game.
Manual Installation
- Manually install BepInExPack_PEAK 5.4.75301 following its own instructions.
- Extract this mod's archive.
- Move the
BepInExfolder into your game's root folder (merge with existing folders). - Launch the game.
How It Works
- The mod hooks into the beach loading event.
- When the beach scene is fully loaded, it simulates a “turn to page 2” action on your emote wheel.
- No configuration needed – it works out of the box.
Troubleshooting
-
Game crashes on startup?
Add-dx12to your game's launch parameters (Settings → Debugging → Set launch parameters). This is a known requirement for BepInEx on PEAK. -
Mod doesn't seem to do anything?
Make sure you have the correct version (5.4.75301) of BepInExPack_PEAK installed.
Check the BepInEx console (if enabled) for any error messages.
Notes
- This mod does not modify any game files permanently.
- It only affects the emote wheel page, not the actual emote slots.
- Compatible with other mods that don't interfere with the emote wheel page index.
