Separation Tracker (Photon-aware)

A BepInEx mod for Chained Together that helps the team captain track separations during a race. Only the captain needs to run this mod.

Features

• Tracks separations between players in real-time.
• Only counts each player once per separation.
• Separation counting has a 2.5s delay to prevent false positives.
• Generates a SeparationLog.txt at the end of the run (on the Title screen).
• Log includes a hash to ensure data integrity.
• Optional GUI display for total separations (toggle with F1).

Installation

1. Make sure BepInEx is installed.
2. Place the EnderGuy77-Chained_Together.dll file in the BepInEx/plugins folder.
3. Launch the game as usual.
4. Only the team captain needs to run the mod.

Usage

• The mod automatically tracks separations during races.
• At the end of the race, check the SeparationLog.txt file in:

<game folder>/BepInEx/SeparationLogs/SeparationLog.txt

• The log includes the total number of separations and a SHA256 hash to verify integrity.
• Press F1 to toggle the GUI display on-screen.

Configuration

• distanceThreshold is fixed at 70 units and cannot be changed.
• separationDelay and other timers are set in the code (currently 2.5s delay).

Notes

• Only the captain should download and run the mod.
• The log file can be used as proof of separations during the race.
• Ensure that the captain’s copy of the mod is up-to-date for accurate logging.
