SummitWatch
Catch cheaters and soundboard spammers in PEAK lobbies: a 0-99% griefing score per scout (CONFIRMED with proof), anti-fling and self-shield, flood and lag guard, host roles and kicks. Only you need it.Summit Watch
Catch cheaters and soundboard spammers in your PEAK lobby, and stop them from ruining your run. Summit Watch watches every other scout and shows how likely each one is to be griefing, like an AI-text detector for gameplay. It says CONFIRMED only when it has proof of a cheat menu.
Only you need it installed. It works as host or client, in any lobby. Hosting with it unlocks roles, kicking and lobby-wide cleanup.
Quick start
Press Ctrl+0 to cycle:
- Mini overlay: every scout's name and % in a corner while you keep playing (no cursor, no buttons).
- Full panel: %, band (Clean, Watch, Likely, Very likely, CONFIRMED), reasons and buttons.
- Off.
Click a name in the panel to open that player's profile.
What it catches
| Signal | Example |
|---|---|
| Puppeteering (proof) | Someone kills, knocks out, teleports, petrifies or sticks a scout they don't control |
| Forced mute / forced run end (proof) | Commands the game never sends: muting a player for everyone, or ending the run (which deletes the save) |
| Impossible item (proof) | Their own game creating, right in front of them or into their hands, an item that never appears naturally |
| Kick without being host (proof) | A non-host trying to kick someone |
| Ignored a kick (proof) | Staying in the lobby after the host kicked them (a cheat menu blocks the kick) |
| Impossible push | A shove, kick or knockdown far stronger or longer than anything in the game, or a kick from across the map |
| Fling | A body jittering back and forth tens of metres every update, launching anyone it touches |
| Force spam | Repeatedly shoving another scout |
| Self-warp | Teleporting with no warp item |
| Item from nothing / out-of-biome item | Spawned items, or items from a later biome appearing fresh where you are |
| Spawn request to host | (When you host) a player asking the game to create items in their hands with no reason |
| Item flood | One source dumping a pile of items |
| Flight / noclip / teleport / speed / super jump | Hovering, moving through rock, jumping across the map, super speed, impossible jumps |
| Endless stamina / no hunger / impossible landing | Stamina that never drops, hunger that never rises, huge falls without injury |
| Replayed clip | Playing the exact same sound clip again (soundboards), even at a different volume |
| Earrape / not speech / nonstop audio | Clipping-loud audio, music or effects with no speech rhythm, a mic that never pauses |
| Timer change without being host | A non-host changing the run timer |
| Immune to cold/heat (off by default) | Cold or heat staying at zero while scouts right next to them freeze or overheat |
Evidence fades over a few minutes, so one weird moment won't brand anyone. Without proof, one kind of evidence can't push anyone past Watch: Likely takes two independent signals. Victims who are flung or teleported by someone else aren't blamed, lag is taken into account, and vanilla launches (cannons, bounce mushrooms, balloons, parachutes, tornadoes) don't count.
Protection for your scout
Your game decides what happens to your scout, so Summit Watch can refuse cheats aimed at you ([Shield]):
- Self-shield: kill, knock-out, teleport, petrify and stick commands from other players' games are refused (only you and the host send those in the real game), as are fake revives that teleport you, the never-sent mute and run-end commands, bursts of shoves, and any single push thousands of times stronger than the game's (the usual "fling player" button). Other players' games are then told you're fine.
- Kick guard: a "super kick" (too strong, too long a knockdown, or from too far away) is refused.
- Anti-fling: a body moving impossibly fast next to you is blocked before it touches you, an impossible push that still lands is undone on the spot, and a flinging player's body can't touch yours for 30 s.
- Rescue: if you're flung anyway, or a cheat flies you around or drags you through rock, you're teleported back to the last place you were standing stably.
Floods, cleanup and lag
- Flood guard: when someone dumps a pile of spawned items (say 100 mandrakes), Summit Watch removes it before the lobby crashes: deleted for everyone when you host, switched off on your screen otherwise.
- Spawn cleanup: items judged as illegally spawned are removed. As host, the ones it's certain about are deleted
for everyone (even out of the cheater's inventory) and unexplained spawn requests are refused. Choose how sure it
must be with
[SpawnCleanup] Level(Everything / Strong / Proof). - Lag guard: if a pile gets past the flood guard anyway, your game keeps only the 10 nearest of a type active
once 15+ are around you, and plays at most 3 explosions a second, so a dynamite flood can't freeze your game
(
[LagGuard], your screen only).
Roles and kicking (host)
- Roles: in a player's profile the host picks Not trusted, Trusted (may mod: their spawns are left alone, may request kicks) or Shield bypass (also gets through everyone's shield and can kick). Everyone with Summit Watch uses the host's list, so nobody disagrees; if the host doesn't have Summit Watch, nobody is trusted. In someone else's lobby you can still set your saved roles for when you host.
- Demotion takes it back: demoting someone to Not trusted removes everything they spawned while trusted.
- Kick: the host can kick anyone; shield-bypass players kick not-trusted players; trusted players can
Request kick and the host or a shield-bypass player answers with one click. Optional auto-kick on
CONFIRMED (
[Kick] AutoKickConfirmed, off). - Kicking off: the panel's Kicking button lets the host turn in-game kicks off for everyone with Summit Watch (except the host and shield-bypass players).
- Ignored kicks: PEAK's kick only asks the player's game to leave, so a cheat menu can ignore it. Summit Watch then treats them as gone for everyone who has it (muted, commands and new items blocked) and kicks them again if they rejoin. Someone who joins and leaves more than 3 times in 2 minutes is kicked the next time they join.
In the panel and profile
- Warn lobby posts a message in the join/leave feed of everyone with Summit Watch and copies it to your clipboard for Steam or Discord chat.
- Mute silences a player for you. Copy ID and Copy report (every offense with its time) for reports.
- Evidence log:
BepInEx/SummitWatch/logs/, one file per launch (its path is hidden in the panel unless you click Show path).
Config
BepInEx/config/summitwatch.cfg: the shortcut ([General] PanelShortcut, default Ctrl+0), the mini overlay's
corner and opacity, toasts, how fast evidence fades, your roles for when you host, kick options, the shield, lag
guard and cleanup levels, and per-detector on/off, weight and cap.
Notes
- Voice is analysed in memory as loudness numbers only. Nothing is recorded or saved, and nothing is sent anywhere except the warnings and lobby messages you and the host trigger.
- Players without Summit Watch still see everything the cheater does; protection and hiding apply to the games that run it.
- Other mods that move players around, fly or spawn items will look suspicious. That's what roles are for.
- Inventory or hotbar mods that create items their own way can look like an "Impossible item". The host can trust
their users, or set
[Detector.ImpossibleItem] Enabled = false. If cleanup ever removes a legit item, lower[SpawnCleanup] Level. - A command aimed at a single other player isn't visible to you, so some cheats only show up for their target.
