JupiterPack Modpack

PEAKER, PeakTextChat, and Anti-cheat are required for this modpack! Textchat is important accessibility for nonverbal folks!

Quick Notes:

  • For best results, use a fresh profile if possible whenever pack is updated! Adding in other mods can cause bugs, unfortunately!

  • Update the invididual mods when possible, but keep in mind which ones they were in case of it somehow causing new bugs.

Cool Hotkeys:

- Hold B to open your backpack without opening.
- Hit C to combine multiple ropes in your inventory into one longer rope. May have to be holding one of them for it to work.
- Hit / (slash) to type in text chat and Enter to send message or to stop typing in chat.
  • PEAKER has a ton of cool commands - too many to list here! Check the PEAKER modpage for its list of commands!

  • Hold T to change your idle pose!

  • Experiencing bugs that aren't in the Known Bugs list, or know a solution to those bugs? Let me know @JupiterAugust in the official PEAK discord's modded chat!

Optional Mods in Pack

  • All cosmetic mods are optional.
  • Most mods that affect client-only Camera/Menus/UIs are optional. This includes IdleStanceWheel, ItemInfoDisplay, Mic Indicator, ModConfig, Numberry, PassportPagination (ONLY if not using cosmetic mods), PEAKFastStartup, and StableCamera.
  • BagsForEverone (you just won't spawn with a backpack).
  • Everest (not Unitask though!).
  • TerrainRandomizer (if Host isn't using a random seed).

Known Bugs

  • Map offset?? I guess???
    • Sometimes people see different mountains than others or something?? Some people may look like they're floating for example, when on their screen there's a rock to climb! Another example is that one of us will see a briefcase the other doesn't. I suspect that the issue is some sort of offset or desync we're experiencing? Idk what to do about it! Please send help!
  • Sometimes the revive statue doesn't work. In that case I have to spawn in effigies to manually revive everyone, which like 30% of the time still doesn't work.
    • Scoutmaster ruined my run once despite the only other scout being a ghost. When I died, it had me spectate the other scout's body, which still appeared alive but frozen in place??? So my theory is that it's not rezzing them because it doesn't register them as dead. Not sure why???

Pack Changelog (long, but not required reading)

v3.0.1 (testing bugfixes and removing possibly outdated mods)

Whelp, new bug just dropped! Items are disappearing when thrown or dropped for non-hosts in multiplayer servers! So this update is me trying to figure out why!

  • Removed PushMod altogether for now, as well as CatchPLayers.
  • Removed HideOpenLuggage again in case that's the cause somehow.
  • Swapped ItemStats with ItemInfoDisplay to test if the former is causing issues (since it has caused me inventory bugs in the past!)
  • Removed NoMoreMotionBlur since it's new and could be a potential cause somehow.
  • Turns out I hadn't removed some mods I said I did! Now I have done so properly, so please be sure to use a new profile or clear out an old one before installing the pack!
  • PeakTextChat sadly stopped working, so switching back to Cozychat for a little while. Turns out Cozychat has proximity text chat now though which sounds cool!
  • Removed DanceTilYouDrop for now since it doesn't work currently.
  • Removed Emoji Customization Pack in case the large amount of cusotmizations might be causing desync, which could maybe cause item disappearances? Idk.
  • Removed FrisbeeBadgeFix which could be the culprit if it's trying to apply a fix to something the devs have now fixed.

v3.0.0 (Post-Mesa Update)

  • Replaced Boxofbiscuits97's depreciated PushMod with Goldenstein64's PushMod_MesaUpdate version. (Make sure the former is removed from your profile!)
  • Updated all mods to most recent verisions as of 8/20/25.
  • Removed PlaneCrashPassports for now since it was bugging out.
  • Added back HideOpenLuggage for now since even if one person cannot see the luggage, they can still be given the items from it by other players. It's client-side iirc.
  • Removed SkinnedMeshRendererItemFix (and unfortunately Glizzy, since it depended on it), as it was causing extreme bugs with holding and dropping items.
  • Added NoMoreMotionBlur. I will give the game that I didn't even realize there was much motion blur to begin with, but now that I think about it I have felt slightly sick a few times playing Vanilla. So, this and StableCamera should cover all the bases. Client-side, so you can disable it if you want.
  • Added Emoji Customization Pack cause it looks fun. If it causes any issues, try disabling it on your end.
  • Looks like ItemStats is updated now, so it's staying in the pack! Yay!

v2.2.0 (test, but a few bugs fixed)

  • Some good news: Removing Piggyback in last patch seems to have fixed the ragdolling bug!
  • Removed various cosmetics I wasn't using personally. You can add any you miss back to your own personal setup if you want, but I have been warned that too many cosmetics could be a potential cause of my desync/offset issue, so I tried to cut the ones in this pack down a little.
  • Removed Figgies' SmoreSkinColors mod since we can just use Snoz's SkinColorSliders to make most colors anyway.
  • Removed HideOpenLuggage to test part of the Offset Bug. I wanna know if people still see briefcases that aren't showing for other players after this is removed.
  • Added Everest (and Unitask) back since it wasn't the cause of the bugs. Everest is optional, Unitask is not.
  • Added Last Chance cause it is weird that we have a few seconds before death but not long enough to use a health pack. Sure you can be revived by friends in multiplayer, but one bad fall in singleplayer or in a competitive match and you're dead. Hoping this will make it a bit more fair. Don't like it? Don't worry, you can uninstall it, it's optional.
  • Added Warming Lava because lava NOT warming you up is extremely silly. I truly don't know if it's client-side, host-only, or all-clients though. It doesn't say.
  • Added PeakFastStartup cuz I'm just sick of the splash screen. Optional, feel free to remove.
  • Turned down the strength config of the Catch Players mod after someone freaking dragged me into a poison bush. Hopefully the new strength makes it less likely people can just drag you around like that! If it's still a problem just turn it down further or off in ModConfig.

v2.1.7 (still testing, unf)

  • Pack should have nearly every cosmetics mod now!
  • Removed Everest (and its dependency Unitask) for now as part of trying to figure out which mod is causing the glitches plaguing this modpack. It seems unlikely to be the cause, but minimizing my unnecessary mods somewhat is a bit helpful in figuring out the glitch, I hope.
  • Removed Piggyback because the way you are positioned on others' backs makes me think of the position the characters look like they're in when experiencing the glitch that makes their bodies just sling around every which way rapidly. Testing if piggyback is a potential cause.
  • Removed BetterFriendJump for the same reason for testing.
  • Removed HDPeak for testing.
  • Removed StaminoInfo and Added Numberry, bc staminainfo was harder to read and less customizable than Numberry.
  • Removed Quickrestart cause it turns out that Peaker already has the same functionality, making Quickstart redundant.
  • Added back Terrainrandomizer and Vinefix since neither turned out to be causing any of the modpack's glitches.
  • Added Compass UI because my eyesight sucks so bad that sometimes I completely miss that a briefcase is near me. Can be disabled or uninstalled. Also, I recommend setting the config to 50 or 25 since the default 100 range is a pretty cheaty-feeling distance in regards to finding suitcases.
  • Added Catch Players, Glizzy, and Modconfig. -Added Peak Suppression, a mic noise suppression mod that I could have sworn that I had already put into this pack, but apparently I hadn't.
  • Added Multiplayer Pause.
