StupidChat is a fork of CozyChat with various bugfixes and improved (optional) proximity chat support.
By default:
- Other players' messages are obfuscated based on their distance to roughly match the audible range of voice chat. This can be disabled with the /useProximityChat option. Or to disable this only while dead (as a ghost), see the /showAllMessagesWhenDead option.
- Messages sent by unconscious players are hidden, including your own. However, they will still be sent to other clients, so other players may be able to read them depending on their configuration. This can be disabled with the /hideUnconsciousMessages option.
- Messages sent by players whose voice audio volume is set to 0 in the menu are hidden. This can be disabled with the /hideMutedPlayerMessages option.
