MX-AHG

MX-AHG is a lightweight companion anti-cheat agent for protected PEAK-MX lobbies.

It has no menu and gives players no admin or cheat functions. The room host manages checks from the Anti-cheat > Mod control page in PEAK-MX.

Installation

Install MX-AHG with Thunderstore/r2modman, or place MX-AHG.dll in PEAK/BepInEx/plugins.
Use the same allowed regular mod pack as the host.
Join the host's room. The agent answers verification requests automatically.

What It Checks

DLL files under BepInEx/plugins, including relative paths, assembly versions and SHA-256 hashes.
BepInEx plugins actually loaded by the game.
Stable Harmony patch owner identifiers.
Agent version, heartbeat and a nonce-bound report checksum.

PEAK-MX.dll, every MX-AHG.dll, and random harmony-auto-* owner identifiers are excluded from exact-pack comparison. This keeps the result focused on the regular mod pack instead of technical components that differ between host and client or between game launches.

Privacy

MX-AHG does not collect or transmit SteamID, hardware identifiers, documents, browser data, unrelated processes, or files outside the PEAK BepInEx plugin directory.

Reports are exchanged inside the current Photon room with the PEAK-MX host. MX-AHG contains no analytics, update checker, donation links, QR codes, or external web API.

Host Setup

The host installs PEAK-MX, enables Require MX-AHG, and chooses whether to require an exact pack, kick missing agents, kick mismatches, or only review the report.

PEAK-MX can also lock its own tools on non-host clients while anti-cheat is active. For a lightweight client setup, ordinary players only need MX-AHG and the agreed regular mod pack.

Limitations

MX-AHG detects ordinary BepInEx mod mismatches and suspicious plugin names. It is not a kernel anti-cheat and cannot prove that a fully compromised or deliberately modified client is clean.
