PEAK Packs 🎒

Backpacks, fanny packs, and jetpacks that actually keep up with the climb.

Hold a pack to open it. Stuff loot in from the ground or from your hands. Open the pack on your back or in your hands with one key. Feed the jetpack without removing it. Lock your bag so other scouts cannot loot you.

🛠️ Features

• Open any time (default B) — always opens your pack on your back or in your hands. If you have no pack and you are carrying a teammate who does, B opens theirs
• Hold a pack — optional: putting a backpack, fanny pack, or jetpack in your hands opens the vanilla pack wheel (off by default; use B)
• Look and throw while held — on by default: mouse look, camera, and throwing stay enabled while the held-pack wheel is open
• Click to take / close — click an item slice to take it out, or click the pack slice to put it back on and close the wheel
• Pocket hotkeys while holding a pack — press your slot 1 / 2 / 3 binds to stash that pocket into the first empty pack slot (jetpack converts that pocket to fuel)
• Pack slot hotkeys — 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 take from, put into, or swap with a specific backpack / fanny pack slot
• Put items in from the world — look at a ground item while wearing a pack and press the store key (default F)
• Put a held item into a ground pack — hold loot, look at a backpack / fanny pack / jetpack on the ground, press F
• Put a held item into your worn pack — wear a pack, hold loot, and use the right-side HUD prompt
• Jetpack fuel — same F prompt becomes use as fuel while a jetpack is worn or you are looking at one
• Pack lock (default L) — your bag starts locked. Cycle Unlocked / Locked / Look Only. Other players obey your lock, even if theirs is off
• Carry with a pack — optional host setting: pick up a teammate without dropping your worn pack
• Open carried pack (default N) — while carrying a teammate, opens their pack even if you are wearing one
• Multipack / nested packs — experimental extras, off by default. See those sections below

🎮 How to use

Holding a pack

1. Equip the backpack / fanny pack / jetpack in your hands
2. Press B (OpenAnyTimeKey) to open it. Auto-open on pickup is off unless you turn OpenWheelWhenHeld on
3. Click a filled slice to take that item, or click the pack icon slice to wear it and close
4. Press pocket 1 / 2 / 3 to stash that pocket into the pack
5. Press 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 to take from, put into, or swap with that pack slot (backpacks and fanny packs only)
6. UnlockCameraWhenHeldOpen is on by default so you can still look and throw while the wheel is up

Wearing a pack

1. Hold an item — a right-side prompt appears to put it in the pack (or use it as jetpack fuel)
2. Look at a ground item and press F to send it straight into the worn pack (unless PutGroundItemsInWornPack is off)
3. Press B to open the worn pack wheel (hold or toggle, depending on ToggleMode)
4. 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 also work on a worn backpack / fanny pack unless OnlyWhileHeld is on

Carrying a teammate

1. Your pack stays on only if the host has KeepPackWhileCarrying on
2. Press B to open your pack. If you have no pack of your own, B opens theirs
3. Press N (OpenCarriedPackKey) to open their pack even if you are wearing one
4. Pack privacy does not block the person carrying you

Ground packs

1. Hold an item and look at a pack on the ground
2. Press F to put the held item into that pack
3. If the last holder locked their pack (BlockLook), nobody else can open, loot, or wear it until they are passed out or dead
4. If they set Look Only, others can look (and stash if the host allows it) but still cannot take or wear it until the last holder is down

🔒 Pack privacy

This lock is yours. Other players have to obey it when they touch your worn or dropped pack, even if their own mode is Off.

Press L (PrivacyCycleKey) like locking a door:

The person carrying you can always open and take.

🧪 Multipack (experimental)

Wear more than one pack at once: backpack + fanny, or a backpack / fanny with a jetpack or rocketpack.

This is experimental. It is best in solo. Multiplayer does not sync well yet. Every multipack setting starts off so a lobby does not turn it on by accident.

Turn AllowMultipack on first. The utility-pack options only do something after that.

How it plays when enabled

1. Wear a backpack, then pick up a fanny / jet / rocket (or the other way around) instead of swapping
2. Press B to open a worn pack. While that wheel is open, right-click (CycleWornPackKey) switches between the packs you are wearing
3. A backpack worn with a jet / rocket can sit on your chest if BackpackInFrontWhenWearingUtility is on
4. FrontPackWhenOpenAnytime moves a backpack / fanny to the front only while the Open Anytime wheel is open
5. FannyPackPosition is your look. Other players see the same spot. The host cannot force it

If you host, your multipack values apply to everyone in the lobby who has the mod.

🧪 Nested packs (experimental)

Packs inside packs. Off by default.

This is experimental. Inner loot still adds weight. You cannot open the inner pack until you take it out, and taking it out drops it on the ground.

Host settings are the lobby host's values. Clients ignore their own copy while in that room.
You settings stay local, except pack privacy (others obey your lock) and fanny position (others see your pose).

2. Place the .dll in /PEAK/BepInEx/plugins/
