Scoutmasters Rampage

Unleashes the relentless Scoutmaster to stalk and hunt players without the need to abandon their friends or use a Scoutmasters Bugle. Constantly run in terror only finding safety at campfires and escaping from the top of the Kiln! Noone is safe unless they are fast or have coconuts to bonk the scoutmaster!

NOW WITH BONKING TO RESCUE OTHER SCOUTS OR YOURSELF!

WANT TO MAKE IT EVEN SCARIER - use this mod with Pitch Black PEAK

Also It Gets A Litter Funky with the Catch Players mod. Will be trying to fix this ASAP.

Features

  • ๐Ÿ•’ Timed Spawn: Scoutmaster spawns after a configurable delay (default: 5 minutes).
  • ๐Ÿ”ฅ Campfire Delay Triggers: Lighting new campfires causes him to flee and then return after increasing delays.
  • ๐ŸŽฏ Lowest Player Targeting: Prioritizes the player furthest behind in progression (lowest Y position).
  • โš™๏ธ Fully Configurable: Customize all timers in config file.

Configuration

After running the game once with the mod, a config file will be generated at:

BepInEx/config/tony4twentys.scoutmastersrampage.cfg

Config Options

๐Ÿ•’ Delays

Key Default Description
InitialSpawn 300f Delay (in seconds) after expedition starts before the Scoutmaster spawns.
Fire2Respawn 600f Delay after fire 1 is lit before Scoutmaster respawns.
Fire3Respawn 900f Delay after fire 2 is lit before Scoutmaster respawns.
Fire4Respawn 900f Delay after fire 3 is lit before Scoutmaster respawns.
Fire5Respawn 1200f Delay after fire 4 is lit before Scoutmaster respawns.
ForceRespawn F1 Keybind to force scoutmaster to respawn just incase he gets stuck or buggy.

EnableLogs true Enables detailed plugin logging.

Installation

  1. Download the .zip from Thunderstore or GitHub.
  2. Extract it into your BepInEx/plugins/ folder.
  3. Launch the game. The mod auto-generates a config file.
  4. Edit the config file if desired and relaunch the game.

Known Issues

  • Scoutmasters AI isnt the best and acts weird in the Kiln, sometimes also getting weird in certain cliffy areas as well.
