Laugo Alien

Adds the Laugo Alien to Receiver 2.

Description

The Laugo Alien is a low-bore-axis 9mm pistol with unusual geometry, controllable recoil, and a trigger tuned for fast follow-up shots.

The trigger is light and responsive, but it is not meant to be simple spam-click firing. It rewards rhythm: release to the reset point, press again, and the pistol settles into a quick, focused cadence.

The mechanism remains unexplained. The trigger is sufficient. The Alien remains fully functional.

Notes

This is a custom weapon mod for Receiver 2.

The pistol is intentionally tuned to feel controllable and satisfying while still requiring trigger discipline. The result is a strange little object: empty inside, fast in the hand, and somehow completely confident about it.

Reality_A accepts the result.

Debug / Testing Access

To access the debug menu in-game, press:

CTRL + F12

From the debug menu, you can access both campaign/debug options and spawn the firearm in the Compound.

For the Compound spawning ritual, stand somewhere elevated first. Spawning too low or directly on the floor may cause the ritual to misalign with local reality, resulting in glitches, clipping, or other unapproved phenomena.

Installation

Install using a Thunderstore-compatible mod manager such as:

r2modman Thunderstore Mod Manager GaleModManager

Or install manually by placing the mod files in the appropriate BepInEx/plugins folder for Receiver 2.
