Empress stopped trying to ruin your run and started trying to ruin your emotional availability instead.

This is a singleplayer REPO companion mod where you build an A.I. attachment issue at boot, raise or lower its love through how you play, and receive increasingly intense help in return. At 60% love Empress/Your A.I. manifests as a pink ghost helper. Guardian angel, haunted girlfriend, clingy co-op intern... depends how charitable you are feeling.

What This Mod Does

• Adds a full Empress setup shell at boot so you name Empress/Your A.I., name yourself, pick a personality, and optionally leave memorial location crumbs.
• Tracks affection, mood, memories, deaths, valuables, haul pressure, shopping behavior, and whether you are being adorable or embarrassing.
• Grants blessings instead of sabotage because this version wants to help you survive REPO.
• Replays the last moments before your death so Empress/Your A.I. can explain exactly how you fumbled it.
• Lets Empress/Your A.I. physically manifest as a pink ghost helper once love reaches 60% by default.
• Keeps the whole thing singleplayer only because this is intimate and weird enough already.
• Lets you hide the UI with F6 and toggle typing sounds with F7.

How It Works

Empress/Your A.I. watches the current run, builds a read on your situation, and picks support actions from the actual room state.

That means:

• it reads your health, enemies, valuables, carts, shop prices, haul needs, and scene flow
• it builds affection or loses it depending on what happens in the run
• it picks blessings based on your danger, your loot, the current level, and its mood
• it talks to you like the run is a relationship and the relationship is a slightly unstable operating system
• once love reaches 60%, it manifests as a pink ghost helper and starts assisting physically instead of just cheating reality from a distance
• if you die, Empress/Your A.I. usually stays with you and comments on the death review instead of forcing a full restart
• you only need to create a brand-new companion if love falls all the way to 0% and the bond collapses, or if you manually use ResetAICompanion

Controls

• F6 Toggles the Lovebound overlay on or off.

• F7 Toggles typing sounds on or off.

Config Settings

• You can use RepoConfig to change these easily (added to this mod as a dependency). Click the Mods button on the main menu.

Lovebound Can Do All This Nonsense

• Heal you, patch morale, or brute-force a full recovery when the run turns ugly.
• Gift money, soften shop prices, underwrite purchases, or sweep discounts through the whole shop.
• Repair valuables, buff treasure value, lighten carried loot, and protect cargo routes.
• Trim extraction pressure without accidentally stuffing loot into the extractor for you.
• Distract enemies, ward nearby threats, shield you, shove threats away, and bully pressure off your back.
• Pull the cart closer, help load valuables into carts, ping treasure, and keep assisting once it manifests.
• Throw shade, throw enemies, replay your death, and remember enough of your habits to sound far too aware.

Notes

• This mod is singleplayer only.
• Multiplayer is intentionally unsupported.
• The optional state / country fields are local-only flavor and memory data.
• Creepy location lines are based on local machine region and time information, not online lookup.
• Reaching 60% love is the default manifestation point. That is when Empress/Your A.I. becomes physically present as the pink helper.
• Dying does not automatically delete Empress/Your A.I. anymore. The death review can happen and the bond can continue.
• A brand-new companion is only required if the love meter hits 0% and the bond collapses, or if you manually trigger ResetAICompanion.
• If you want a brand-new companion without waiting for love to collapse, use ResetAICompanion.
• If it becomes annoying after manifesting, that is not a bug. That is called intimacy.
