Empress SmartMap v1.0.0

Empress SmartMap upgrades the vanilla DirtFinder map with clean client-side intel markers while keeping the normal REPO map visible.

What This Mod Does

  • Shows players as colored dots using player cosmetic colors when available.
  • Shows monsters as red threat markers.
  • Shows big monsters as red squares.
  • Shows medium monsters as larger red rings.
  • Shows small monsters as smaller red dots.
  • Shows valuables as gold diamonds.
  • Lets players toggle players, monsters, valuables, other floors, and marker pulse effects in config.
  • Scans only while the vanilla map is open.
  • Keeps markers hidden in rooms you have not discovered yet.

How It Works

Empress SmartMap uses the game's real DirtFinder map.

That means:

  • the vanilla level map stays visible
  • markers are placed under Map.OverLayerParent
  • marker position uses the same world-to-map scale as vanilla REPO
  • undiscovered room markers stay hidden until vanilla room discovery reveals them
  • the mod does not create gameplay objects in the level
  • the mod does not send network messages or require other players to install it

Config Settings

ShowDifferentFloors true Shows nearby floor markers at reduced opacity
HackerPulse true Adds a subtle Empress pulse to hostile and valuable markers
SameFloorAlpha 1 Marker opacity on your current floor
OtherFloorAlpha 0.3 Marker opacity on other floors
RefreshRate 0.18 Seconds between scans while the map is open

Notes

  • This is client-side.
  • Other players do not need this mod.
  • It does not send RPCs.
  • It does not change room properties.
  • It does not spawn synced Photon objects.
  • It only runs while the vanilla map is open.
