ExtractionPointReward

Spawns configurable item rewards when completing an extraction point in R.E.P.O.

Only Host, clients don't need it. Rewards synchronize across all players automatically.

Features

  • Extraction Rewards: Receive item drops as rewards upon completing an extraction point during your run.
  • Configurable Item Pools: Customize drop weights per slot to control which items, weapons, or upgrades can spawn.
  • Run-Long Item Preservation: Optionally allow secured reward items in the extraction truck or your inventory to persist across levels throughout your run (disabled by default to preserve the game's intended economy).
  • Pulsating Light Aura: Rewarded items emit a soft pulsating light aura on the ground so players can easily spot them. The aura turns off automatically when held or equipped. (Material color modification can optionally be enabled in the configuration).
  • Only Host, clients don't need it: Only the host needs this mod installed; all connected players can see and pick up the rewarded items.

What is a Reward Slot?

A Slot represents an independent reward channel:

  • Independent Controls: The mod provides 5 separate reward slots that can each be toggled ON or OFF individually.
  • Custom Item Tables: Each slot has its own independent drop weight table. This allows you to tailor distinct roles for each slot (for instance, Slot 1 is configured by default to drop strictly medical supplies, while Slot 2 offers a balanced pool of gear, weapons, and tools).
  • Flexible Payouts: You can activate more slots if you want multiple items rewarded per extraction point, or disable slots if you prefer a leaner survival challenge.

Requirements

Installation

  1. Install the latest BepInEx Pack.
  2. Place ExtractionPointReward.dll into your BepInEx/plugins folder (or install via r2modman / Thunderstore Mod Manager).
  3. Launch the game once — the configuration file will be generated automatically inside BepInEx/config.

Configuration

Settings are controlled through BepInEx/config/com.osmar.ExtractionPointReward.cfg:

  • [General]
    • Enabled (default true): Enable or disable the mod.
    • PreserveItemsBetweenLevels (default false): When enabled, reward items secured in the truck or your inventory persist into the truck on the next level.
    • MaxPreservedItems (default 10): Maximum number of extraction reward items that can be preserved at the same time across levels.
  • [Visuals]
    • EnableRewardAura (default true): Emit a luminous aura centered on the rewarded item.
    • AuraColorR, AuraColorG, AuraColorB (defaults 0.15, 0.85, 1.00): RGB channels for the pulsating light aura (defaults to high-tech cyan/teal glow).
    • AuraIntensity (default 0.8), AuraRange (default 3.5): Adjust the brightness and radius of the aura light.
    • EnableColorModification (default false): Apply custom color multipliers to the item materials while preserving textures and screen details (disabled by default to keep original item appearance).
    • ColorMultiplierR, ColorMultiplierG, ColorMultiplierB (defaults 0.65, 0.90, 1.00), ColorAdd (default 0.05): Fine-tune the color tint applied to rewarded items if color modification is turned on.
  • [Slot 1] to [Slot 5]
    • Enabled: Independently enable or disable each reward slot. By default, Slot 1 and Slot 2 are enabled, while Slots 3 to 5 are disabled.
    • Item weight sliders (range 0-12): Adjust the relative probability for each item in that slot:
      • Slot 1: Configured by default to drop health packs only (Health Pack Small, Medium, Large).
      • Slots 2 to 5: Balanced by default according to economy tiers (cheap consumables are common, weapons are rare, permanent upgrades are ultra-rare, and unusable items like Power Crystal are set to 0). Set any item to 0 to remove it from that slot.

Configuration updates reload automatically whenever a new level starts.
