History

REPO Roles was released on the 5th of March 2025 by BobisMods (aka. KingRobin72) and was one of the first mod for R.E.P.O that existed at that time. The first version contained four roles those being Runner, Tank, Gambler and Strongman. Since then REPO Roles has gained over a million downloads and five additional new roles.

In the major Update 2.0.0 - "UPGRADES", the first two upgrades (Mana Regeneration & Scout Cooldown Reduction) were added.

After the REPO Museum update was released, which unfortunately broke REPO Roles, the author BobisMods (aka. KingRobin72) announced one month later that development of the mod would be discontinued and made its code open source.

Shortly after three individuals, SYCOJACK, ✮(𝘴𝓲ໄ✓ℯ𝘳)✪ Panduo and Lionel, and Natalie NeEing, announced their interest in continuing development of REPO Roles to make it work again with the newest REPO version and began working on updating. Soon after, a fourth member, Jettcodey, joined the team to help out.

After almost two months in which players were unable to play this awesome mod, the team, now called R3Labs, released the first version 2.1.0 of REPORoles-Classic for everyone and has continued to update the mod ever since.
