No Swap Drop
Switching inventory slots no longer drops the item in your hand - it gets stowed back into a free slot instead. No Swap Drop
In vanilla R.E.P.O., if you are holding an item and press another inventory slot key, the item in your hand is dropped on the floor. This mod stows it back into a free inventory slot instead.
What it does
- Pressing an inventory key while holding an item puts that item away before pulling out the new one.
- It goes back into the slot it came from when that slot is still free, so your inventory layout stays the same.
- Switching faster than the stow animation is handled too: the next item is held back for a few frames until your hand is free, rather than dropping what you had.
- If every slot is full, the vanilla behaviour is kept (the item drops).
- Items that cannot go into the inventory (loot, valuables, ...) are untouched.
Multiplayer
Only you need this mod. It reuses the game's own equip request, which is authoritative on the host and broadcast to everyone, so there is no desync and other players do not have to install anything.
