- Admin-forced map votes with

- Built for up to 64 players; tested with simulated scoring traffic and voters.
Requirements
ReSkate 2.1.3. Install this plugin on the dedicated server and on each player's game for tracked scoring and the overlay. It does not require other mod packages.
Players
Install through your ReSkate mod manager. For manual installation, extract the package into a folder under Mods beside Skate.exe, with manifest.json and reskate-plugin.json directly in that folder. Review and enable the plugin if ReSkate prompts you. Join a server running the same plugin version.
Game console controls:
| Command | Effect |
|---|---|
afterhours on |
Show the leaderboard |
afterhours off |
Hide the leaderboard; active vote results remain visible |
afterhours page 2 |
Select a leaderboard page, 1–8 |
Press Space during gameplay to show or hide the points display. It starts visible whenever the plugin loads. This does not stop scoring or hide active vote results. Rebind Toggle point display in ReSkate's Binds settings if desired. The shortcut is inactive while typing in chat or using menus/console. It does not block Space from the game's normal controls.
After a scoring mode is selected, the score table opens automatically and remains visible until toggled. A small Space show/hide hint appears beneath the table.
Answer votes on ReSkate's ballot or with /1 through /6 in multiplayer chat. The native ballot closes after an answer; this plugin's separate live-results panel remains until completion. Persistent results cover this plugin's scoring and admin-map ballots, not the server's separate built-in timed rotation ballot.
Server owners
Copy the whole package folder into Plugins beside ReSkateServer.exe. A player-side Mods installation alone does not install the server copy. The server watches Plugins and reloads changes automatically. Updating/reloading the plugin clears the current score round.
Edit plugin/map_pool.lua to match your server's installed rotation maps before using admin map votes. The included pool reflects AFTERHOURS' own maps. Only pool entries found in the server's installed map list are offered; the current map is excluded.
Server command input:
afterhours status: print current ranks and totals.afterhours mapvote: force a native 30-second map ballot.
An admin can also use /mapvote in multiplayer chat. Authorization uses the server's actual role: admin by name or rank 100 and above. The ballot offers up to four maps, Random map and Stay here. No votes defaults to Stay; Stay wins ties involving it, and other ties are drawn randomly. Starts have a 60-second interval and cannot overlap. A forced map vote temporarily replaces an unfinished scoring vote, which resumes if players stay. A map change starts a fresh scoring vote.
For automatic player installation, add this package's actual Thunderstore Owner-Name-version identity to plugins.required in ReSkateServer.json after publication. Use the same plugin version on players and server.
Scoring rules
Scoring begins after the mode vote finishes and clients synchronize. One vote per eligible connected player; highest count wins, ties follow the listed option order, and no votes defaults to total points. Late joiners can skate but wait for the next map's mode ballot. Stay here does not start another scoring-mode vote.
Landed points include the game's multiplier. A later bail does not remove already-landed totals. Line records count landed-trick events within the score-HUD line; a bail or bank/reset ends the line. This counts trick events rather than each modifier in the ticker. Best trick/line modes retain the best result rather than adding records together.
Grind distance accumulates movement between consecutive grinding samples, displayed in metres. Teleport-sized jumps, sampling gaps over 250 ms and movement over 100 m/s are excluded. It measures accumulated distance, not the longest individual grind.
Tied totals share ranks (1, 1, 3). Rejoining keeps that map round's accepted score. Server restarts/plugin reloads clear scores. There are no permanent accounts, all-time records or external score services.
Beta status and limitations
Version 0.2.4 is an early public beta. Local points scoring and scoring-mode voting have been tested in-game. Automated tests cover 64 simulated players, 7,680 scoring reports, 64 voters, message budgets, ranking, reconnection, map resets, metric calculations, admin authorization and persistent vote panels. This is not a real 64-client performance test; multiplayer transitions and each scoring mode should be tested on your own server.
Metrics come from players' games. Identity, epoch, sequence and rate checks reject malformed/replayed/implausible reports but do not prove that a modified client performed a trick. Intended for casual sessions, not trusted prize competitions.
The plugin reads local trick events and skater position/state, reads the multiplayer session, exchanges plugin messages, draws a local overlay and uses server chat/polls/map travel. It makes no external web requests and does not modify physics or grant player roles.
Unofficial community plugin; not affiliated with EA, Full Circle or the ReSkate team.
Developed with AI assistance, with local gameplay checks and automated simulations as described above.
