Hide and seek on Spades Spot servers, with your role and the time on your HUD. Join a Spades Spot server with
ReSkate 2.1.2 or newer and type /hns.
ReSkate 2.1.3 and newer ask once whether to turn the plugin on: choose Turn on.
How it works
/hnsopens a sign-up: everyone who types/hnsin the next 30 s plays (at least 3).- One seeker for every 6 players. Everyone is sent to the start.
- Hide phase (45 s): hiders get out of sight. Seekers wait at the start and see no hider.
- Seek phase (5 min): a seeker sees a hider only within 25 m. Stay within 3 m of a hider for a second to find them - the found hider seeks too.
- Play area: 200 m around the start. Outside it every seeker sees you; stay out for 60 s and you're out.
- Ping: every 45 s of seeking the seekers see every hider for a moment (you're warned 5 s before).
- The last hider wins - or every hider still hidden when the time is up.
- Noclip is off for everyone in a round.
/hns stopstops your round.
The HUD shows your role, the time left, how many hiders are left, the ping and the play area. Its size is set with SpadesSpot: ReSkate menu (Insert) > PLUGINS > Spades Spot > HUD size.
Without this mod
You still play on Spades Spot: you get cards and chat lines instead of the HUD.
For server owners
The server copy runs the round on a dedicated server (hns status, hns stop, hns test on the console;
settings in config.json). It needs ReSkate 2.1.2 (reskate.server.hide).
