Stoops' Skate 2 Reda Pack

Skate 2's Giovanni Reda - the filmer who shows you around New San Vanelona in Skate 2 - takes over skate.'s voice lines. He reacts to what you do in place of Vee, Izzy and Shingo, and Skate 2's two park announcers call the meet-ups.

• 3,056 voice-line slots, 627 different Skate 2 takes in rotation.
• Every replacement fits inside the line it replaces and keeps the game's original timing, so lines never run long or talk over the next one. Where none of Reda's takes is short enough for a slot, that slot stays quiet rather than cutting a word (79 of 3,056 slots).
• Lines Reda says about a named pro or a Skate 2 story moment are never used.
• Left as they are: the hi, yes, no and goodbye pings and one Shingo callout (Reda has no line that fits them), and five meet-up announcer lines that are silent in the base game too.

Settings in game

Open the pack's menu with Ctrl+Shift+U (controller: hold Back and press Y), or go to ReSkate's menu -> PLUGINS -> Reda Pack. Move the slider and press Apply: ReSkate puts it in at once and reloads the level (a few seconds). Your choice is kept for every launch.

On every setting the lines still don't talk over each other: each one waits for a moment of quiet.

One voice pack at a time

This pack and Stoops' Vee Replacement Pack (Skate 3's Frank and Reda) replace the same lines. Turn one of them off in the launcher's mod list: with both on, one pack's sound banks play the other's lines, and you get wrong takes or silence. If both are on, the pack tells you when a level loads and on its page in ReSkate's menu.

Custom maps and online

Every ReSkate map carries its own copy of Vee's lines. The pack patches the copies in 298 maps - every map in Thunderstore's ReSkate Maps category as of 2026-10-24 - so Reda keeps talking on them, offline and on servers running them:

• Keep the pack at the top of your mod list (highest priority). A map listed above it may keep its own Vee.
• A map that isn't installed costs nothing: its patch is only read when the map is there.
• Maps not in the list still have Vee on them; they get added in updates.

In game

• Install it from the ReSkate launcher's Mods page (or unzip into Skate/Mods/), move it to the top of the mod list, and launch as usual.
• English voice-over only: the game's language must be English.
• Tutorials and missions keep Vee - they carry instructions. Subtitles still show the original text.
• Built for Skate.exe fbce74d5e28e (Steam build 25414733); ReSkate skips it on other builds.
