Stoops' Vee Replacement Pack

Skate 3's crew takes over skate.'s voice lines. Coach Frank and Giovanni Reda react to what you do instead of Vee, Izzy and Shingo, Skate 3's park announcers call the meet-ups, and the crew talks a lot more than Vee did.

• 3,000+ voice-line slots, 653 different Skate 3 takes in rotation.
• Every replacement fits inside the line it replaces and keeps the game's original timing, so lines never run long or talk over the next one.
• Frank and Reda are mixed evenly wherever both have lines (Reda has far more Skate 3 lines, so you hear him more).

More chatter

The game keeps its commentator quiet most of the time. The pack opens that up, so reactions come about three times as often:

• The quiet time each line needs before it plays, and keeps after it, is cut to 30%.
• Repeat cooldowns of 10 s or more are cut to 30%, and lines that only played some of the time always play.
• Tricks get praised from a score of 60 instead of 150; idle lines start after 50 s instead of 120 s; the quiet after story scenes and menus is shorter.

Lines still don't talk over each other: each one still waits for a moment of quiet before it starts.

Every ReSkate map carries its own copy of Vee's lines. The pack patches the copies in 298 maps - every map in Thunderstore's ReSkate Maps category as of 2026-10-24 - so the crew keeps talking on them, offline and on servers running them:

• Keep the pack at the top of your mod list (highest priority). A map listed above it may keep its own Vee.
• A map that isn't installed costs nothing: its patch is only read when the map is there.
• Maps not in the list still have Vee on them; they get added in updates.

In game

• Install it from the ReSkate launcher's Mods page (or unzip into Skate/Mods/), move it to the top of the mod list, and launch as usual.
• English voice-over only: the game's language must be English.
• Tutorials and missions keep Vee - they carry instructions. Subtitles still show the original text.
• Not changed: Slappy's challenge lines and Dashawn's stadium event commentary.
• Built for Skate.exe fbce74d5e28e (Steam build 25414733); ReSkate skips it on other builds.
